Mr Smart man, 10,217,573 is the current total number of covid-19 tests in the USA as against the 50 million tests you stated. Stop putting out figures without facts.

USA has a population of 328.2m based on 2019 census so calculate the percentage of the 10million tested folks with that, Oga Smartman.

LOL, I think the federal government should stop testing people already. Doesn't make sense to keep testing if merely 1249 tests produce 193 positive. It's like saying more than 10% of Nigerians (20,000,000) are positive.


We keep celebrating low positive cases without looking at the number of tests that actually produced the result and the mode of transmission. If 10 new cases are reported based on a paltry 100 tests, that to me is a sign of damnation. Not a thing to celebrate.

If Nigeria cannot do 20,000 tests a day, shame on on governments at all levels. We should have several mobile testing units in more populated cities and in every state. With a view to testing ALL healthcare workers and symptomatic/suspected cases and their contacts/household.

In parallel, snap tests of the general public to gauge general level of infection should be done. Running into thousands across the nation.
