All these US, UK and European schools should grant more Nigerian youths admission, and watch how our guys would smash their results 5.0/5.0, if its paper studies, Nigerians are very good at that, where the problem comes is in implementation, creating new nonexistent solutions to human problems using science, engineering and technology which the whites are master even without any paper education or qualification.


What am I saying We are tired of paper qualifications and news of Nigerians being best graduating student overseas, we want real implementation of these paper education in turning around the situation of Nigeria through focused, honest, inclusive, corrupt-free and development focused leadership that will bring Nigeria at par with the western countries through fast economic development and job creation such that Nigerian youths won't be begging for employment, they won't be fasting and praying to secure a job or grow their businesses as these will come naturally while they focus on worshipping their God for who He is and not what God can do for them




I am tired of all these Nigerian wins best graduating student Oyimbo is fooling us with while they still lead in science and technology innovations and inventions even without attending any formal school, we want practical success, real breakthroughs in science, in technology, in Nigerian leadership and in growing Nigeria technologically to become Africa's technology and economy giant not paper degrees without any meaningful success or impact on Nigeria


How many times do we hear a Chinese or Japanese or Korean won best graduating student anywhere in the world Yet they are the leaders in science, technology and economy in the world today while we Nigerians celebrate yeye paper results and degrees that take us nowhere aside big salaries. Nigerians just love reading books to pass exam so they can get best result to secure a high paying job in existing blue chip companies, they are not studying to invent solutions to human problems, they are studying to get best employment and its becoming stupid of us

I'm with you in this. I graduated top of my class in Bufallo Upstate NY in those days. Most of the programmes taught were like revisions. I had been taught nearly all of them in my undergraduate days in the polytechnic back home. I think poly education should be massively encouraged by our govt. Even my friends who studied accountancy tore their ICAN apart before graduating from the polytechnic, while their counterparts in the uni were still 2 ateps behind in the professional exams. Nigerian environment creates a good ground for our people to thrive anywhere in the world in their chosen careers.

South Broward senior is school’s first black valedictorian with highest GPA in school history

The first black valedictorian of South Broward High School’s graduating class has a record-setting GPA.

“As of now, it’s a 5.6045,” said senior Timi Adelakun. “I think by graduation it’ll go a little bit higher, but that’s my number.”

The 18-year-old has earned the highest recorded GPA at the Hollywood school.

“It’s good, especially the history breaking part, that me being the first black valedictorian, and also me having the highest GPA in my school,” Adelakun said. “It’s good to know.”

Adelakun said his grades excelled early on in his life, and he kept them up ever since.

“South Broward sets you up to start off with college-level courses, so you’re pretty much in a good position GPA wise,” he said. “South Broward High School, which is an Ace Program school, and each Ace class is a college credit. At the same time, they offer AP courses and at the same time they offer Broward College courses.”

Adelakun said he has been taking all three of the courses offered during his time in high school.

“I’ve been taking over 20 college courses worth of credit, and because of that, my AP credits, my Ace credits and my dual enrollment credits boost my GPA,” he said.

“When I was in high school I was always like the STEM-focused kid. I was in calculus and biology, but at the same time I was doing extracurricular drama club/Thespian Honors Society,” Adelakun said. “Through there I’ve been doing shows and competitions. Through that love of theater, I’ve found a way to do both at the same time.
