Chai . You mean am? So Scoob got the vod treatment chai.

And I've been patiently waiting for this movie theater release to monitor it's box office performance. cry

I'll be waiting for SpongeBob SquarePants to get same treatment then. Awaiting Paramount's decision.

The Sound of Music (1965) - 10/10
The Sound of Music is a 1965 American musical drama film produced and directed by Robert Wise, and starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, with Richard Haydn and Eleanor Parker. The film is about a young Austrian postulant in Salzburg, Austria, in 1938 who is sent to the villa of a retired naval officer and widower to be governess to his seven children.
After bringing love and music into the lives of the family, she marries the officer and, together with the children, finds a way to survive the loss of their homeland to the Nazis.

The film is regarded as one of the most commercially successful films of all time. By November 1966, The Sound of Music had become the highest-grossing film of all-time—surpassing Gone with the Wind—and held that distinction for five years.
The Sound of Music received five Academy Awards. The film also received two Golden Globe Awards, the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement, and the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Written American Musical. It went on to win more awards and accolades.
In 2001, the United States Library of Congress selected the film for preservation in the National Film Registry.

Personally, I'm not very eager to watch musicals but this one was magnificent. You could see the huge amount of work and time the creators put into the movie. All with a solid script. Great music too. I still remember some I sang when I first saw the film years ago grin
There were a lot of touching scenes but Rolfe's betrayal at the ending scene definitely hit me.

5 beautiful women. I had no idea Cara Delevigne was that beautiful until I saw her in Carnival row because I followed her modeling career before she became an actress. Jodie was a bombshell back in the day and still is. Uma and Julia Roberts look so alike that sometimes I can't tell who is whom and Alexandra Doddario.... I could swim into those blue sapphire eyes and loose myself, she's inhumanely beautiful.

Is it just me or you have a thing for women who love other women because two women on that list are currently with other women?

Afrikaans is a form of Dutch language. Boers settlers in South Africa speak Afrikaans as a first language. Chalize Theron is Boer.

Uma Thurman and Julia Roberts look nothing alike. One has a wide mouth, the other doesn't. One has a lean face, the other doesn't. One is blonde, the other isn't.

Not exactly. Both Are African by heritage. They both have African parents from.Africa.

However, Charlize Theron actually grew up in Africa and Idris did not. Idris grew up in England. She is actually more African than the guy.

Her first language is Afrikaans. English is her second language. She's more African than dark-skinned africans that can't communicate in their native dialect.
