OVB123:we're talking about roads sir. As of city size uyo is still growing, Akwa Ibom is among the youngest states in Nigeria created as recently as 1987,so comparing us to Lagos or port Harcourt that witnessed development from colonial times is really unfair or even comparing us with older States, even Abuja is older us so leave that side, compared to so many states Akwa Ibom is far ahead, one thing Akwa Ibom has is that development is not concentrated in the capital alone like you have in most Nigerian states, ikot ekpene, eket, itam, abak, oron and other places are more developed than many cities in Nigeria. Akwa ibom is still growing and it's growing fast. |

OVB123:I know but its create direct and indirect jobs to the state and what the call third party contractors like Nalco etc. Presently mobil producing alone has 4000 contracts staffs (both services, third parties and direct contract staffs ) and 80% are akwa ibomite ..... Eket and Ibeno axis are more richer than people and politicians in uyo not to talk of other state |

Henri8:lol You are the one who should travel to know that Ibadan is bigger and much more developed than SE. Stop staying in your market trader, travel. Ibadan has numerous malls scattered all over the city. I was talking about mega malls. Enugu has one, polo park....which was built to make you stay at home by Tayo Amusan. IMO state has Owerri mall,Abia has one and Ebonyi has none. The only one you have in Anambra is idling away because you have all fled Igboland to come to the rich Yorubaland. The whole Igboland has 4 mega malls while only the city of Ibadan, which is more developed than the whole SE,has 5 mega malls. Pics 1. Anambrans have never seen real mall before Look at the zombie look on their faces at the opening of Onitsha mall. Pics 2 . Poverty in IIgboland is making Onitsha mall idle away. Pics 3. A Niger Deltan in Ibadan tells you the difference between mega malls and your village malls that every state has. Mega malls are not easy to come by especially by poor Igbos ![]() You are not like the coward, who knows that Ibadan is more developed than the entire Igboland and will never compare head to head or sector by sector because Ibadan will win the entire Igboland. What he always does because of fright is to quickly post the old part of Ibadan and call it the biggest slum in Africa ![]() Only Ibadan is an enigma to Igboland and we are proud of Ibadan even with its old part to even still be more developed than the entire Igboland. I have not talked about the GRAs o. Ibadan has the highest number of organised govt reserved areas,GRAs in Nigeria with some of the choicest mansions. ![]() https://tribuneonlineng.com/a-day-inside-ibadan-mega-malls/

banjo022:I have been to all those places you mentioned, don't weep yet brother El rufai has already framed out a master plan every governor of the state will be using in the next 30 years and like I said earlier development will eventually catch up with the all those places infact barnawa has started having a taste of what the urban renewal looks, with the plan El rufai has put in place all the next governors will have to do is continue from the one's they took over from |
