Copped the Redmi 8, 4/64 variant for 51k in Niger state, yesterday. The 3/32 variant was 49k. Figured a difference of 2k was such a significant difference in spec was worth having. I'm still getting used to it and I'm yet to update it, but it's been a treat so far. Thank God I discovered this thread.

that is not screen draining.. That 97% means ur screen has been on the entire time

Android 10, yes but I'm sure you know it's running on MIUI not stock Android.

It's beautiful but there's something I have been finding difficult to do. The dial pad and icon hasn't changed

I didn't experience any of the problems u listed when I applied mine, after applying the theme, automatically everything changed.

Have u tried changing the theme to default Miui theme and re applying the iOS theme?

I recently got a note 8 pro and after trying about 2-3 Gcam apps, I had to settle for hypercam.

This Hypercam is actually cool for selfies

If you see a working gcam i don't mind

The stock camera is wonderful too i won't lie

Gcam is built on snapdragon. Note 8 pro came with MediaTek processor. The ones available now have been re-engineered for MediaTek but it is not stable yet.

Look, the issue is from the theme you downloaded.
After Redmi Note 7, Redmi 7/7a, Xiaomi stopped using their stock dialler and stock message app. They started using Google dialer and message app from Redmi 8, Redmi Note 8.

Most themes would not change the dialer and message app icons, some will (but it won't affect their in-app design just as you see it in the theme store during any theme preview)

Just live with it

The screens of xiaomi smartphones are too costly.

I’m sure redmi note 8 screen is upto or more than 24k...
