Jokerman:The award was introduced in 2006 .. And was won by the great Zizou that year!! If all the players you mentioned never won it, may be they are not good enough for the award in 2006 onward!!! Zizou, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi and Modric have won it!! These are world class Playmakers sice the award introduced!! I see KDB winning the next!! .it is an award for "World best playmaker", and not just for mere Playmakers.. You have to be the absolute best to win it!!! Argentina Aiyegbeni is not only blamed for Argentina loss... He is blame for his disaster class in AC Milan and Chelsea too.. Also blame for his inhibitory roles in Juventus too!!!
