The District Head of Batsari in Katsina, Alhaji Tukur Mu’azu, says his subjects will prefer to die from coronavirus than being killed by rampaging bandits.
He said this while lamenting the recent wave of gruesome attacks on villagers in several communities at Ruma and Batsari Local Government Areas (LGAs).

In a video obtained by PRNigeria, Mu’azu, who holds the traditional title of Sarkin Ruma Katsina, regretted the rising insecurity in Katsina.

Katsina is the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mu’azu said:

“My people will prefer to die from coronavirus infection, not from these senseless killings. So far, the deadly pandemic has not claimed any life in Batsari and other neighboring Local Government Areas (LGAs), but the bandits have killed scores of harmless villagers and residents. So, what are we saying?”

On the recent attacks on old and new Ruma, the District Head told PRNigeria on the phone at the weekend, that the criminals invaded over 10 communities and killed many Nigerians.

He further recalled that the attackers stole cattle and other animals.

“The bandits always scatter themselves. Hence, security personnel find it difficult sometimes to contain the attacks.

However, we are still calling on the Federal Government to deploy more soldiers, mobile policemen and fighter helicopters to Katsina.

Let them comb all the forests and eliminate these bandits,” the traditional leader appealed.

If you know what bandits do you will understand why he said so. Insecurity is a nightmare. Bandits don't have control when they come to you, but for COVID all you need to do is to enter your house, cover your nose, if there is garri you soak it n drink.

This is kinda funny.
It's Just like being faced with the option of either Buhari or Jonathan. Knowing fully well that both of them are thieves, then you decide to choose Buhari thinking he's a lesser thief without knowing that he actually invented stealing

The well worn saying 'what goes around comes around' has come true in the north. They kept the borders opened for other fulanis tribes in Niger, Chad and Cameroun to come in at will. They told them Nigeria is a islamic nation, conquered by dan fodio. They showed them the way to the south. They came. They spied. But the land of the Yorubas, Igbos and Niger Delta wouldn't be conducive for their ulterior motives. So they headed back to the north with great anger unleashing pain and death on everyone, anyone in the geographical location called arewa... And they are going to stick around for a very long time maiming, killing and occupying... Proddy woddy rang the bell not for heaven but for hell.

This is to tell u how bad things have gone wrong in that region. And to stait with, the president is from that state o. Chai, i pity these people but they no pity their selves. Thats their dividends for always voting for wrong leaders since 1960.
