So let's say he resigned, with what resources does the wife expect him to "take care" of the family?
He should work towards relocating his family to be with him while he maintains his job.
Should he quit that job and return to be with his family; after 3 months of not getting another, that same woman is going to call him; "useless" and "good for nothing man who cant provide for his family".

Friends like yourself, should come together and assist him with the needed finance to relocate his family. It is such moments like this, the brotherhood of friendship gets its definition.

He wants to relocate his family from what I read but it is just not possible yet.

I presume he is abroad so he cannot help it right now.

but if he is not sending money and he is not at home it may be the reason why his wife is clamouring for him to come back and unwilling to wait.

I have NEVER said money is everything - however no father , no money - the load becomes to much for a patient wife

I will advise him to figure out how to send money home and travel home more often till he is able to relocate him family

They get married without necessary finance
They seek admission without having necessary finance
They want to relocate overseas without any known contact or accomodation or job...
But you will hear "God will provide"

He should find a way to relocate the family to where he is, and the sooner the better. While the wife might sound unreasonable in her request, we must agree that it comes from a place of affection. Long distance marriages hardly survive the storms that come at it. Unless wifey doesn't wish to move, then the elders will have to step into this matter.

He needs to find a way to explain to the wife all he's doing to re-unite the family. If he leaves his job, the wife would leave him if he doesn't get another job to maintain the current family status.
