In the middle of the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria, Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has approved Fridays Muslim prayers as well as Eid prayers in the state, after meeting with selected 30 Islamic scholars.


This development was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the govenor on Media, Salihu Tanko Yakasai who stated that the governor made the decision after a meeting with the religious leaders in the state.

The statement read:

“Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has accepted and approved recommendations by a selection of 30 Islamic scholars in Kano for the Government to allow...SEE MORE HERE

The daily income earners, private organisations(management and staff members) are the ones to suffer the consequences of these dimwits' actions.


When they keep approving the reopening of worship centres, one begins to wonder if truly these governors are sane. One begins to wonder if they had forgotten about the pandemic claiming lives around the world.


These idiots know fully well they're on government payroll. They know they'd get paid even if there's a sudden hike in the number of cases and the government is forced to enforce another total lock down, not considering the facts that the daily income earners, private organisations are the ones to bear the brunt of their pathetic actions.

Religious grounds are the easiest avenue to contract the virus.

as usual religion is top priority in this country yet it doesn't reflect in our day to day activities. the innocent few will suffer for the ignorance of the majority.

As usual people in Kano with their huge numbers and exponential rate of infected people will spike once again because of this move. I watched a video showing how you can observe the eid al fitr prayer at home. I don’t understand how these people believe they’ve the sole custody of the prophet & the country where the religion originated from isn’t doing that..

He met with 30 muslims scholars. I wonder how many Christian scholars he met with before easter.

Even Saudi has cancelled Eid since the first day of Ramadan. Why we carry religion for Head for this country like this.

Not as if people even practice what they preach. Most are hypocrites, they go to religious gathering to show people the new cloths and wristwatches they bought. Some dont even preach what they practice.

We place religion above health, education in this country. Am not surprised.
