Most of these educated people and well to do individuals have relations who are medical professionals and thus prefer to first indulge in home treatment rather than visiting a hospital and being transferred to an isolation centre of which from rumours is in poor condition with poor management of patients

Testing is very slow and hard to come by. In a population of over 300 million people only less than 40,000 have been tested. Many are on queues waiting with the shakara stories of the health officials that we hear everyday. Government too says testing equipments are not enough. Those in Isolation centers complain. Sadly certain people in Top Facts government have been accused of embezzling funds meant for corvid 19. People do not trust government. Government failed in a lot of areas.

Now they accuse people of home based treatment. Do you expect people to either just sit at home without treating themselves or go and to test centers without getting tested?

How is it that suddenly many are dying of home based treatment? Is this not an indication that the daily reports of NCDC are not correct? Please government get more serious with us.

With due respect sir, you and your boss are clueless about this pandemic, you have nothing on the table in other to curb this virus. Things are not getting funny any longer, if you and your Co horts don't care about us, we care about ourselves. For how long are we going to continue staying at home? For how long?
People are dying of hunger, our children are turning to something else.
Please what is the way forward??
Please!!!

I'm beginning to lean towards the argument that this COVID 19, in Nigeria at least, is a scam!

I think a lot of the asymptomatic cases are either false positives or cases of malaria

Kogi state has only carried out 1 test with no lockdown, yet I'm not reading or people dying in large numbers from unexplained deaths.

Same as Cross River with only 7 tests, though they locked down.

I also see no trends in the data...during lockdown and easing of lockdown.

CBN - 50 billion palliative - scam!

FG palliative - scam. They claim they cannot even afford to feed and accommodate returnees and CBN had to intervene . CBN even thanked NNPC for sharing the cost...what happened to the 50billion

NNPC- Scam ...see above

School feeding programme - scam! Spending over 600m daily feeding ghost children

Chinese experts- scam!

This man has turned from Minister of health to minister of information on health matters. Always distributing fear and panic. Probably to justify the huge government spending on covid 19.
Schools are shut down, working is irregular, free movement is highly restricted and so on. Do you still think this is a joke? People need to be reminded so that they don't loose their guards.

Self medication always always dangerous and sometimes even deadly. Experts are not experts for name sake. What you don't know you simply don't know it. Let those who are professional handle what they are best at doing. Don't be jack of all trades in this case.
Meanwhile I will like you my dear friend to remember your creator in this season of uncertainty.
Ecclesiastes 12:1
[1]Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
[13]Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
[14]For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Bottom line, believe on Jesus as your Lord and savior and it shall be well with you.
John 3:16-18
[16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17]For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
[18]He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
God bless you real good for making the right choice today.

Kogi state observed the first lockdown, though it wasn't that serious in some places.

The elite follow for our problem for this country

They brought the virus into the country, now they are putting everyone at risk by staying at home

The government should just go tranquilize them and move them out by force

More than 25% of tests conducted daily now turn out to be positive. An evidence that the initial lockdowns failed. At this rate, there's no point disrupting people's economic life.

A little bit of restrictions and individual instincts can guide us on how best to live and survive. Even if the government show most Nigerians a trailer load of dead bodies, it will remain what it is in their view - "scamdemic".

So to what end is this poorly enforced lockdowns and poor testing capacity in the midst of spiralling community transmission?
