Too much happening all at once with with bare minimum ‘development’

Someone described it as ‘tripping over its own feet trying to throw in as much colour and quirkiness’ and I thought this was the perfect description.

Nevertheless, there’s definitely a ‘type’ of audience for it so I understand its marketable-ness.

Personally, it wasn’t for me

People who are very Familiar with the Harley Quinn character will almost never find any problem with it's bright colours or zaniness. That's basically Harley's persona.

Also comparing the film to Deadpool is outlandish cos Harley is known for over the top craziness.

I didn't find any problem with its bright colours or zaniness, I'm aware that that's her persona

My issue with the movie was that I felt there was poor development overall, the over the top craziness and colours are a given, we know it's part of the brand, it just felt a bit tooooo forced to me at times, like it was overcompensating for something. Like, we get it, the movie is quirky, it's not going to distract me from noticing the lack of development though..we can have both, thanks

I didn't mention anything about Deadpool, haven't even watched it before

again, darkseid has never controlled the anti-life equation, even in DCeased it almost killed him. Darkseid true form was destroyed by Superman by singing. Darkseid has been killed many times.

But you see Thanos, he has beaten earth heroes without his gauntlet. Thanos destruction has gotten the attention of THE ONE ABOVE ALL. But darkseid never.
