Now is not the time to be cutting light.
In fact, being a PHCN staff is currently one of the most dangerous jobs in Nigeria today.

PHCN no longer exists ffs.

Why would anyone even think of buying the defunct NEPA in the name of privatisation? It's like buying the Nigerian Police and expecting a change in people's perception. The image of these entities, like many Nigerian Institutions, have become rotten.

Imagine someone blaming the Nigerian government over disconnection? Lol.

Silly citizens who don't want to pay XYZ Disco. Is it Siemens they will afford. To create a market there must be buyers and sellers who agree. Sometimes it may be necessary for government to step away and let the citizens organise themselves in ways they know and feel best. Let us see how the woman in question will provide herself with stable electricity.

The sad thing about this thread is that people are hailing the woman.

Look, before you insult me, answer this question....if you were running a business , where would you get the money to buy goods to sell? From the government or from your customers.

Power has been privatised since 2014. And I recall that the government of the day then gave people a lot of opportunites to register their opposition to the privatisation move, and Nigerians sat down at home and kept quiet. The same Nigerians who are now grumbling.

Don't pay the DISCOS. At the end of the day, power supply will never improve. Because no payment for power, no money to make improvements.
