Good Morning happy people.

I want to say a very big thank you to everybody that has been contributing to this thread. It has been immensely helpful.

I got admission into PGD in Industrial automation starting September in Ontario Colleague.

My concern is linking my SOP with my documents: I am currently employed with a job related to my course of study(not closely related.) but my monthly pay is not up to 100k. On the other hand, I have a personal account that have a good money flow and currently about 5m balance.

Now should I include my current employment letter and pay slip in the document submitted or should I only include the account statement for my personal account. I am trying to make a good case for home tie.

I am being sponsored by my elder bother who works for an oil company, his account balance and property is ok to sponsor me.

Thanks Nairalanders your candid advice will be appreciated.

Bro, I believe that some dedicated people took time to write out an SOP structure at the beginning of this thread. You can find how to use subheadings to explain and link your documents in your SOP. Secondly, your personal account, what is the source of that money ? Do you have a freelance job or side hustle apart from your main job? Finally, since your job is not closely related with your intended course? What was your previous bsc and your current job description ?

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Include your brother's CAC documents if he is also sponsoring you, but if he is bringing nothing to the table then no need including it.
Just show your mom's proof of income and you should be good to go. Since she buys and sell properties, I want to believe she has receipts and other documents to show for it?
Is she renting any of those properties? If yes, then let her show proof of rent payment by her tenants, it will go a long way.
God bless you so much sir ..yes she has receipts

If you are seeking for people's advice then you should give full details of your case and stop keeping your cards to your chest. Telling us your area of specialization at the moment won't invade your privacy, so kindly tell us that.
If we don't have a clear picture of your case then how can we give precise answers.
That aside, if you tell the vo you are working then you need to show proof of that and you can only do that by showing your ID, payslip/SOA showing your salary enters the account, employment letter, leave letter(depending on what you are saying in your SOP)

My bad, thanks for your candid input.
I have a BSC in Electronics and Computer Technology, am currently working as a system admin in a Webhosting company in Nigeria.
My fear is that my current job earnings will not make a strong case for home ties.
Trueth be told, I don't really want to be permanent based in Canada, the program I believe will open up a lot of opportunities for me.
Thanks once again for your time.

Yes, I do some webdevelopment and some buying and selling side hustle, but my brother have also been building that account for my study(even though he will sponsor me).

Greetings house trust all is going well please i was told to come here and ask questions God bless us all
First of all I am going for my masters in finance at Windsor university
Here is my query
1)My mother is my sponsor but here is the issue she doesn’t own no CAC documents cause basically she is not into running a company, but she has so many inherited properties and she also sells and buys Properties too , I have printed out her statement and for the case of supporting documents as source of income she gave to give me the “THE TRANSFER OF INTEREST IN LAND AGREEMENT “ about 5 showing the properties she sold and also the ones she paid for.
These documents I am talking about are notarized , signed and stamped by her lawyer.
is it advisable to go ahead and submit ?

2) do co-sponsors have to submit their source of income too ??

3) my elder brother owns a real estate company he has the complete CAC documents is there any way I can join it to my application as source of income for my mum since it’s literally buying and selling of properties she does to sum the money in her account or I should just go ahead and submit what she gave me !?

God bless us all
Cc mcobex, justmellow, frankrobbn1, Naijaforeigner Wunaarroon69 , and everyone who can be kind enough to advice me I am about submitting my application

(1) Go ahead to submit. legal documents to show proof of how she earns her income is okay

(2) Yes.

(3) If your elder brother is your co-sponsor, then clearly state that in your letter.
Show proof of relationship to both your mum and brother (birth certificate)
Show proof of source of income.

Don't complicate things, submit only relevant documents. Arrange your documents properly and you are good to go.
I wish you all the best.

I want to pay tuition for my son for Prince Edward island university I was directed to the western global pay website. Pls who had paid for tuition deposit for university of prince edward island. Pls kindly help me out before I enter one chance. Thank you

Hello. You can pay to Western Union Business Solution via wire transfer.

My school also required me to use Western Union for the deposit and here was what i did;

1. I contacted the school for alternative method of payment and they gave me various option like paying online using Credit card or other debit card option. Well, I paid the 2000 deposit required by my school using my Payoneer debit card online.

2. I paid the tuition via wire transfer from bank. Just walk up to your branch and tell them you want to make a wire transfer.

Goodluck

Good morning gurus in the house @justmellow @justwise and everyone else.
I am an old timer and I have been delayed twice. I am planning to re fire and I would like some light to be shed into my documentations.
Firstly, I am planning to use my two sisters as my sponsor, the main sponsor is in UK and I will be having her transfer my second semester tuition into my account as I have made payments for my first do I still need to show her SOA and does she need to have a reasonable closing account balance(note my program of study is 3years) ,plus some extra funds for living expense. My other sister which is the Co-sponsor has a PR in Canada and I want her to give me a sponsorship letter to proof she will take care of accommodation and probably a little of feeding. Do I still need to show 10k cad even after she will be sponsoring accommodation and feeding or will showing 5kcad miscellaneous be enough. Secondly I have a registered business and also I work in a company owned by the family and earn 300k will this be good enough as family tie(I have a daughter but I am not married is it advisable to include her as family tie or not). Thirdly I get rents annually form properties inherited from my late dad but you know how polygamous families are we are all joined together in various properties but I am a beneficiary in more than one places. Will including the last will of testament and explaining in my SOP how much I get annually plus the turnover of my business be reasonable enough as proof of funds accessible to me in subsequent years. Thank you all as you help shed more light to this. God bless you

Please house, I need your opinions on this, I finished my NYSC program last November and got a job the same month, now the issue is that it wouldn't make sense that a company i worked for 6 months, will be willing to grant me 2 years study leave(that's the number of years for my program)

Please i need other suggestions on what to use as my tie in Nigeria

I don't have any land Documents in my name except the one for my father but it has no survey plan.

My Cousin is my Sponsor and I am 24 years

I don't think that is realistic, it's hard for anyone to believe, and you don't want the VAs to doubt your application.

Only if you can explain with the document that the company is planning to sponsor you.

My opinions are my own

My opinions are my own

Firstly, I am planning to use my two sisters as my sponsor. ==> Is it possible you combine the sponsor to be just one person to make the application less cumbersome. (if two sponsors, make it yourself and the other person)

My other sister which is the Co-sponsor has a PR in Canada and I want her to give me a sponsorship letter to proof she will take care of accommodation and probably a little of feeding. ==> When you mean, she will take care of your accommodation, is she going to let you stay with her or support you in terms of cash for your accommodation.
Some things matter here, there is a Canadian National Occupancy Standard, Single household members 18 years or older should have a separate bedroom, does she stay in a house/apartment with additional room available, remember Canada knows her address, family size also and the kind of house she stays, if this will mean she will have to take a new house, they know her income level through tax to know if she can afford it.

So I will advise, you still show your 10k

Secondly, I have a registered business and also I work in a company owned by the family and earn 300k will this be good enough as family tie ==> this is good for family ties. You could also use your daughter as family ties, and don't forget to state her in your application

Lastly, for the rent, can you quantify the amount you do receive yearly, collect some and save them and show it to Canada, Canada is interested in available cash as at the time of application.

Hello

Please I need an answer or an advice to this question that’s bothering me seriously

I have 12M in my personal account . Sponsorship not exactly forthcoming

I am going for a program of 8.2M (MBA).

Should I submit this bank account along side my landed properties , shares and other investments

Or i shouldn’t till I find a sponsor??

Thank you all

Hello Silvamania,

Owing to your profile, I just underlined sponsorship and funds. You're good to go based on your funds as a self-sponsored. What you should be working seriously on is your home ties.

BTW, endeavour to prove your have a reliable source of funds.

Anon123:

This is normal and advantageous wen it gets to securing a permanent job.. a coop is more like the Nigerian University Industrial training but with better advantage after school.. So apply for your visa normally, wen you get to canada, u will be issued a study permit and a work permit. The work permit is your key card for you to be eligible for the 6months coop placement

Hello Anon123,

For the bolded, a co-op permit is entirely different from the traditional work permit. Thus, it has to be applied for separately and it doesn't make a student eligible for a PR. The co-op permit enables a student work unlimitedly but doesn't qualify/count for PGWP.

All the best

It's not necessary. landed properties are to show home tie, while letter of sponsorship is to POF. He is your dad and you are entitled to his properties, I don't think you or your mom need to explain anything in that regard...

Hey dear, I'm just an applicant like you o, just thought to add 2 cents.

MBA is very sellable over there and was my initial desire but it's crazily expensive for International students.

I can comfortably afford it but i chose differently.. Will apply to do cheap MEng. and secure visa first.. May switch eventually when i get to the school or chill and study it when i get PR cos it will be cheaper then. Instead of proving why i want to switch from engineering to business bla bla bla and having VO raise plenty brows about funding and then again, its1 year which secures less points on the PR scorleline

I don't know if I'm thinking right o but chose to share

Hello Pee2Jay9,

Within Canada, there are numerous ways to PR which puts applicants with a CEC on a very competitive edge against others outside.

Good day my people
A friend of mine works with a concrete production firm (main role: determines and formulates chemical composition of their products, product testing and other lab works).

He wants to do PGD/C in related field, I have searched using "PGD/C in concrete chemistry and Concrete technology in Canada" but none came up.

So I decide to ask here, if anyone knows college(s) offering such or related programs please help list them. Thanks
