And how do you like it? Inspired by the 'What movie are you watching right now' thread, rate your book in categories such as plot, character development, themes/motifs, atmosphere, language, suspense, entertainment/educative value ... Please don't be a spoiler though. Give the book a rating with 10 being the highest. |

Mein Kampf —Adold Hitler I however shouldn't give rating to a book I'm still reading. For example, Chinua Achebe's Arrow of God would have been a 10/10 from start, but the story ended (to me) in a drab way as though he didn't know where to end it. I'll later rate it 3/10 I'll be glad if anyone can help me with any of the following books in PDF or Epub; Trials of brother Jero —Wole Soyinka Kongi's harvest —Wole Soyinka Secret and sacred —James henry hammond Recently completed: No orchids for Miss Blandish -James Hadley chase 10/10 You must set forth at dawn -Wole Soyinka 11/10 3 Likes |

Educated by Tara Westover A coming-of-age-story which is a memoir written by a young lady who was raised in a Mormon family and as the title implies underwent a change with the opportunities that education opened for her. A book about religious bigotry and how it affects a family in different ways. It is full of suspense and action and the characters are portrayed in all their complexity. The family drama that unfolds is heart-breaking for Tara Westover describes the characters and their relations with profound empathy. The story is set in Idaho and shows life in the United States as you have probably not thought could be possible. A must read. 10/10 |

Currently and Reading 1984 and Animal Farm. Its all about politics based on totalitarian government a.k.a socialism. Its a book that narrows the conspiracy and deception theory of governments. I give both books 10/10.. My next genre is gonna be horror ,am trying to purchase some Stephen Kings classics online. 1 Like |

Officialgarri: You rate a book by the way it ends? There's no right way to end a story. The story ends when the writer has finished passing his message. It can even end when the main character is sleeping. Arrow Of God was very well written and the plot well crafted and concluded. A proud priest who was humiliated by his deity for trying to raise himself above his people. 4 Likes |

HarunaWest: These are classics of dystopian literature. Orwell was not only an author but in retrospective also prophetic by predicting which threat new technology could pose to democracy. 1 Like |

Ray360: How do you like Virtue and Vengeance? What is it about? I have heard of "Man's search for meaning" but have not read it. Thought-provoking sounds like something I would enjoy reading. I don't have PDF books. Sorry. I love holding books in my hands and decorate my rooms with plenty of them so ... |

I was reading Introvert Power before Anybook app placed a compulsory fee on their app. It's a book that teaches introvert how to understand themselves. It was an educative read. Can anyone help me with the PDF file? Also, I started reading the 48 Laws of Power but it bores me sometimes because I'm not a good reader. I struggle to read...it ain't my thing but I'm trying |

The Memory of Love by Aminatta Forna Set in post-war Sierra Leone describes a country dealing with the psychological effects of war. The three main male characters are interesting and their experience with love captivating. It is also a book about friendship and how our past influences our today. I will rate it when I finish reading it. I have been enjoying it so far. |

Hathor5:I stopped reading Virtue and Vengeance when someone told me about "Man's search for meaning. " I picked the latter up and started reading. I finished it in a week (When a book is very fascinating, you consume it in big chunks). Virtue and Vengeance, from the pages I have covered, Is a good book. Though I am still on it and can't give a holistic view now. Well, most of my books are in soft copies, just a few in hard copies. I like ladies who read. Can I send you a DM? perhaps we can review many books together. 2 Likes |

Akposy:Lol. 48 Laws of power is a book for evil geniuses. people who are extreme with their Faith might not be too comfortable reading it. Or they may struggle for balance between the creeds their faith preaches with the dark truths in that book. I read up to the 44th Law of power. You don't have to read everything, pick the laws you find invaluable to your pursuits in life. 1 Like |

Ray360: I think I have to order Man's Search for Meaning. Though I already have about seven unread books here. I know what it is like when a book is fascinating. Every free moment I want to continue reading. I felt this way about Educated by Tara Westover, the book I wrote about here. We could do the reviews here, don't you think? Some others might want to join us hopefully. |
