From what I've read, you are ashamed of doing what puts food on your table. Many are looking for your type of job to no avail. Remember to keep that I'm a polytechnic graduate nonsense by the corner. What makes you think that you are better or wiser than those who didn't go to school? I'm presently running a PhD programme and that doesn't stop me from hustling in any form, shape or scope. Hustle hard o, forget about girls now and hustle, keep building your resume with interesting skills while at this job, start dropping your upgraded resume like a mad man to any company you see, who knows when your luck would shine?
Some graduates in their skill section would put Microsoft word, excel grin, typing skills, I would just laugh. What happened to I can analyse data using python data science module such as Pandas and then visualization through matplotlib and Bokeh. This wouldn't even take you up to 2-4weeks to master. Upgrade yourself daily, read, read and read.
Can you save some cash and aquire basic shoe making and Pam slippers production machines? Or even attach yourself with a mechanic to learn motor repair or generator repair (Mikano)?
Gracias!
I think I want to learn that part about python.. How do I go about it please?

Python is a programming language used for many things. Honestly, I would advise you to learn JavaScript if you want to be employed as a top programmer sooner. This is because every website you see runs on JavaScript. Is JavaScript hard? It is and there are so many frameworks to learn such as angular, react, vue.js, node.js etc, you'll also learn HTML and CSS which is easy. I guarantee that after 6-9 months of perfecting JavaScript, you'll get jobs of 150-250k easy.

Some of the responses to the op on this thread have been very cautious and kind so who are the people looking down on the op? They're not on NL?

OP, there's been a lot of nice advices for you on this thread, I hope you can take the advices and run with it.

Just a few comment from me:

I'll just say, do you. You're not in competition with anyone.

There's dignity in labour and that's what you should always remember. Do not despise the days of humble beginning.
If you're a believer in Faith, work hard and apply kingdom principles and values.

Psalm 37 vs 5 says: Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you.

Its not just enough to work hard, neither is it just enough to pray (Faith without works is dead).

Have a combination of both. The answers may not come speedily as you expect but it will. You'll find that although you're not where you want to be, you're not where you used to be. It can only get better. Be strong and be of good courage.

The vision is for an appointed time, though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Lyrics from.one of my favorite songs:
God's plan for us is still to prosper and He's not forgotten us. When beyond our understanding, He's teaching us to Trust.

Take care. Be well, be kind to yourself.

Hmmmm, seems you are not really into IT, PHP is gradually phasing out, it's becoming an outdated language. Google top 3 programming languages and see for yourself. JavaScript is not beans at all that's why they are in very high demand. You'll learn the syntax, angular, react and Gatsby, Node.js, Vue, Dom manipulation, and a host of other things. PHP is just a server side language.

There is a woman for every man. Last time I checked, over half of the Nigerian population are living in poverty. This means the poor are marrying and fcking. If he wants to hustle first, his choice, if he wants a woman, there is one for him. It is just not me, obviously not you...the rest is his business.

What and what do you need to learn in pandas that you can analyse data in 2-4 weeks?

Import pandas as pd
Import matplotlib as plt
Import bokeh as bk

df = pd.read_csv("education.csv" )
df

Then you advance further by learning python data structures and loops if need be.
Know your list slicing etc, people don't just wanna stress themselves, I challenge anyone to give it 2-4 weeks and not come out above average

Fine and good. What about list of lists, dictionaries, tuples, regex, etc.

You can't really master Python in 2-4 weeks. You may be able to have a good grasp of it but definitely not master it.

No one said anything about being a master, how long does it take one to understand dictionary, tuples, list of list etc can be achieved in less than a month of constant practice, hardwork and determination. Also, getting the right resource for learning is extremely vital. Few people would pay $10 for an udemy course, but these are one of the best learning resources out there.

You have a job dont ever forget that
Millions are doing photocopy and even some at the copy stand just to direct people to where they do photocopy. Some are even graduates. Whatever youre doing just dont let your life end there.Keep growing. Some where guards today they own their own guard company some moved on to something better and dnt forget prayer. You see those moments you spend crying to God it works and try every good opportunity you see wisely.Sometimes its one of them God will pick

Completed my HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with on the job experiences in industrial automation.went further to acquire another skill in instrumentation and control.I had the dream of securing a better job after my nysc, but non was available ofter over a year search. Dammm, will i die of hunger, how will I pay my bills? Mind you,I was still living with my parents, eating mama thank you as a graduate.
I had to take up a job in a security firm as a guard, at least get something by the end of the month. The insult I have received from the job can reduce the confidence of a man ,we are seen as outcast, a no body,a failure in life. I could remember vividly a contractor that came to our office to carry out some maintenance job, i had to make him go through the modus oparandi of the organisation, but he refuses. That was the day i recieved the worst bashing of my life. I gave him a smile and move on.i didnt allow the incident wear me down.
Still looking out for better opportunities, man no go remain for the job for ever.

guy chill, why not find opportunities around this ur security job n try to improve or develop them; like trying to build a sleeping gas circuit around your base with secretly well placed execution buttons or lever, or think of developing a facial recognition software for where you work (I know you might think you don't have the programming skills for it, but with determination and your phone or laptop and you can do it) tho it's quite easy.
