Foolish Igbos with everlasting anger issue over Awolowo betrayals should make use of this advice. It is priceless.

Hoephase:
Did you know that the gibberish you wrote up there is an indication of someone with anger issues?

Did you know also know that untreated anger issues could result in serious mental health problems down the line?

Did you know that untreated anger issues would affect your relationship with your children, partner and colleagues if untreated?

Have you been having issues with people around you lately?

Have you been thinking that everyone around you is the problem and not you?

If your answers to both questions are yes, I advise you seek a professional help.

Thank me later

Biafra war is yesterday’s message. The igbos were defeated with casualties running into millions with the Nigerian side declaring victory while Effiong (Biafra) surrendered and pledged to the Nigerian flag.

Ojuku came back to campaign for a Fulani Shagari in a blatant display of betrayal to the lost Igbo souls in the war. Why will a military leader that commanded a war suddenly come back and campaign openly for a progeny that slaughterered his people few years back. To what benefit? For political gains? That showed Ojukwu is a disloyal man and not an example of people with honor.

His people later dealt with him by making him lose the senatorial elections then as a show of their grievances towards his action.

If there is any Fulani slaves in Nigeria, the major title holders are the tribes domiciled in the South Eastern part of Nigeria.

From their ancestor Azikwe - Ekwueme- Ojuku - Ugoh - and etc up to this moment. Their offsprings are all still trapped within this nation continually bleeped by their Fulani lords while they cry daily for freedom from the shackles their ancestors once ignorantly lock them in.

You left out uncle rochas and his click. Who wants to be partners with igbos that would even discriminate among themselves? The question is what did igbos do to help daka boro achieve his niger delta dream?

Stick to the discourse of the thread and stop grandstanding like a fickle wh*re, from these account which was aptly collaborated with a war journal article from an Ijaw site... Adekunle and his band of yoorogba degenerates ambushed and shot Isaac Boro...true or false?
Mujahid Dokubo-Asari Wrote Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, let’s assume you are from the South South. How will you feel deep inside you if an Igbo leader or someone from a majority ethnic group is arrogantly talking about South South/Niger Delta as you are currently doing and barking all over the Internet? Mazi Nnamdi Kanu why do you enjoy creating problems and enemies for Ndi-Igbo? Do you really have advisers? Who are you working for? Why do you keep making Igbos a subject of hate and ridicule? How can you in the 21st Century be arrogantly telling a sophisticated people like our non-Igbo brothers in the South South that those who claim they are Niger Deltans are traitors and fools. I don't think any reasonable non-Igbo will take you serious again. This arrogance is unacceptable. Instead of being meek, down-to-earth, gentle, modest and engage them as equal stakeholders, you want to be an ADOLF HITLER? Are we in North Korea? Do you think minorities will be intimidated by a runaway coward and noise maker like you? The Ijaws especially are formidable; why not build bridges with them instead of walls? Ojukwu forcefully annexed them and brought them into Biafra without proper consultation. What happened to us during the war, we lost over 4Million people because of such arrogance and 'over-sabi'. You are trying to cremate any chance or chances of unification or partnership with the minorities. You are so arrogant pompous, snobbish yet you couldn't stand Python Dance. SHAME ON YOU. The enemy is surrounding us, you can't talk about that rather Niger Delta is your concern. Please note: 1. There is Niger Delta/South South and you cannot STOP Them. Ndi-Igbo are NOT against non-Igbo speaking Niger Delta or South South. They have the right to answer any name they want to answer. 2. Minorities must understand that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB doesn't represent Ndi-Igbo. Do not use Nnamdi Kanu’s stupidity to judge Ndi-Igbo. 3. We can work as a team, as partners for our separate independent Republics and be good neighbors. 4. Most of us prefer a homogeneous Igbo speaking Biafra to avoid another Nigeria in Biafra and superiority complex of misguided individuals like Kanu. 5. Adaka Boro fought for what he believed in and led a revolt against the Igbos that were marginalizing them. He is a true born and not a coward like Ojuku that ran away at the heat of the war.

If you like open a trillion thread, it doesn’t change history and sensible people know the truth from propaganda.
Dude what you posted does not show evidence. Again Boro never left school, he finished from school. Fear God and stop lying.

dude no one is rewriting history. Adaka Boro was not sincere in his agitation. He stated in his book that he wanted a Niger Delta republic of only Ijaws. Balewa used him to cause the same issue that led to the Western Region crisis to also happen in the east courtesy of Boro, but the 1966 coup put paid to that(we will never know the things that coup prevented).
Also note that after Balewa was assassinated and seeing he had no back up, he took matters into his hand and declared Niger Delta republic. the commander of the Nigerian army dispatched from Lagos to quel the agitation was George Kurubo an Ijaw man coincidentally and his 2ic was Major Obienu. He was tried in PH and was to be sentenced to death, but Ironsi commuted it to imprisonment.
He was released by Gowon and fought under the Nigerian army commando unit led by Adekunle. it was a known secret that Adekunle despised Boro and envied his popularity in the army. Boro's companions stated clearly that the gun that killed Boro was a Nigerian army standard issue and not a Biafran army rifle as the Biafrans were ill equiped.
Boro's experience is very clear, in agitation trust no one especially those who choose to pally with you to achieve their goal, you must know what their end game is, and if you are not to be used and discarded.
Willink's commission stated clearly that there was really no evidence of marginalization of minorities by igbos. it was all about power and selfish greed. Saro Wiwa is another case study, he schooled in Govt College Umuahia and became a prefect, he claimed he was marginalized, but couldn't provide evidence as his classmates were alive at that time. he forcefully took over a house belonging to the late Igwe of Nnewi, thinking he had allies in Nigerian government, and what happened later in his life? there was an Ohaneze meeting he attended in the early 90s, he came to greet Ojukwu and to mend fences with Ohaneze and the first thing Ojukwu told him that evening was " Good Morning Ken"

Boro wasn't sincere in what way?

By being insincere you mean he was not ready to be subjugated by you Ibos ?

The thing about you idiots is how much you now believe your own lies.

Ironsi refused to court martial his fellow Ibos who brought him to power through the military coup of Jan 15 but was quick to setup a kangaroo court and try and convict Adaka Boro within a few weeks of his arrest by federal forces composed mainly of Ibo soldiers under the leadership of Ojukwu .

All the rubbish conspiracy surrounding Adaka Boro's death written by the OP are all pure lies. The most plausible explanation would have been killed by
a retreating band of biafran soldiers. Boro was on patrol in the area to weed out any straggling detachment of biafran forces that were driven out of the area.

Lastly , when did Ojukwu ever get permission to visit Saro-Wiwa in Port Harcourt Prison after he(Ken) had been convicted and sentenced to death? Last I checked this was the Abacha era and Ken awaiting execution in Port Harcourt would have seen him barred from recieving any visitor outside his close relations, lawyers and clergyman.

You idiots lie to a fault .

Again you don't have any iota of sense. If I ask you now to bring documented cases of so called subjugation you will be quiet. No one till date can bring any documented case. See he was killed in Okirika at the time he was killed there was no biafran resistance talk less of retreating soldiers as all the Biafran soldier had left for Aba.
Again there is no big deal with Ojukwu visiting Saro Wiwa after all Saro Wiwa would not have granted him audience if he didn't want to see him.
You are biggest idiot here because you cannot even deny any of my allegations with counter evidence. Oga have sense for once and don't be a daft.

I'm yoruba but I don't see it that way. we need to know our true history as a people. I never knew that the minorities of our defunct Western region suffered under our people. let's bend down and learn. I now know that history is important

During the Biafran-Nigerian civil war, there were a few Biafran sons and daughters, who were used and killed by the Hausa and Yoruba controlled Nigerian Government. Some of them were made to believe that Biafra was dominated by Igbos and would seize all the resources in Biafra lands. Isaac Adaka Boro was among the the prominent sons who were misguided.

And he paid dearly with his life for betraying the Biafran Republic. And for more than fifty years, his tribe have suffered the nemesis of his mistakes because he was misled and betrayed by his Hausa and Yoruba friends.

The storie of Isaac Adaka Boro is a great lesson for contemporary and potential betrayals of the renewed movement for the restoration of Biafran Republic.

Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro, from Kaiama (in present day Bayelsa State), was born in September 10, 1938 in Oloibiri. Isaac Boro, while studying Chemistry at University of Nigeria
Nsukka became the Student Union President of the University.

Despite the support and political patronage he got from his Igbo brothers at the university, Boro led the first revolution of resource control in Nigeria few months after Aguiyi Ironsi became the Head of State of Nigeria.

He formed the Niger Delta Volunteer Force (NDVF), the first armed militia of only Ijaw extraction. On February 23, 1966, Boro and his NDVF declared the Niger Delta Republic. This was the first time any part of Nigeria tried to secede. He believed that the Ijaw people deserved a reasonable share of proceeds of the oil wealth than they were getting from the Federal Government.

For twelve days Boro and his militias battled the Federal forces before they were finally defeated by the far superior Federal firepower. Isaac Boro and some of his men were convicted of treason and sentenced to death, but Ironsi out of mercy decided to jail him instead of killing him as demanded by the law. Why did you dodge about him been overpowered by the federal forces. Who were the forces then, if not Aguyi Ironsi and Ojukwu. They denied niger delta republic and a year later when the northern military men struck and Ironsi was killed, Ojukwu declared Biafra because he and his people were no longer in power.

On the eve of the Biafran-Nigerian war in May 1967, then Nigerian Head of State Yakubu Gowon granted him amnesty and drafted him into the Nigerian Army. He was afterwards commissioned as a major in the Nigerian Army. With his army of 1000 Ijaw soldiers. He fought alongside Col. Benjamin Adekunle, who was heading the 3rd Marine Commando Division of the Nigerian army.

With deep knowledge of the Niger Delta creeks, Boro and his men fought along-side the Nigerian troops to push back the Biafran soldiers of the region.

Isaac Boro was betrayed by the Nigerian forces he trusted. On May 16, 1968, after a successful gun battle against Biafran forces at Ogu (near Okrika) in Rivers State, Boro was ambushed by what many of his men then believed was a unit sent by Col. Adekunle. In a brief and fierce battle, Adenkunle’s men gunned him down.

His death went down in history as mysterious as there was no conclusive evidence on who assassinated Boro. Strong allegations pointed to treacherous Col. Adekunle, envied by Boro’s rising prominence in the Nigerian Army, Ordered the assassination of Boro in order to seize the glories which Boro enabled the 3 Marine Commando Division to achieve.

Subsequent to Boro’s death, Adekunle took all the credits of the achievements of the division.

A Regimental Sergeant Major under Boro was quoted saying "Boro did not die in the heat of battle with the Biafran forces". He said, the area had already been captured and secured by their troops and Major Boro was on an inspection tour when they came under fire. The type of gunfire that erupted during the gun battle that killed Boro was completely different from what the Biafrans were known to use in that area of the war. This confirmed to them that it was one of the federal troops units that carried out the ambush. As soon as Boro died, his 1000 band of soldiers was disbanded.

According to Olusegun Obasanjo in his book My Command, Adekunle’s post-war political ambition pushed him into assassinating Boro, as he was using the war to building a ‘formidable’ name for himself. Obasanjo stated that “Col.
Adekunle, at this point saw the war not only in terms of crushing a rebellion, but also as a means of building himself up for any future political position or responsibility which he
might wish to seek, I knew of people of Western State origin who had felt politically victimized and who saw in Col.Adekunle a saviour and told him so, and he believed them.”

What Boro fought and died for had eluded his people for years. Niger Delta has remained impoverished despite the huge revenue it has continued to generate for the country. Oil fields and mining leases have been allocated to northern oligarchs and friends.

Isaac Boro remains a lesson for future
revolutionaries in knowing where to pitch their tent.
