At the moment in Nigeria there is hardly anyone that does not have one issue or the other that he or she is battling with; from unemployment to hunger, poverty, homelessness, Childlessness, rejection by a loved one/family, Sickness etc. Suicide is not the solution. Whatever your problem is,there are some lifestyle changes you can make that will help guard against your suicidal thoughts. 1. Get busier, learn a new skill or something to add value to your life, like graphic design, a new language, karate etc. As suicidal thoughts comes when you are most likely idle. 2. Draw closer to God, read his word, listen to songs that edify your spirit. 3. Talk to someone. 4. Surround yourself with people that can encourage you especially in that area of life where you have challenges. Last last everything go dey alright some day. |

Cold141114:Is this something new? You are depressed and should probably try to identify the stress in your life. Write them down and carefully go through them and ask for the help of those who are understanding, where possible. If you have been dealing with this depression for a period of up to 2 years or more, then might I plead that you head to a mental health clinic or hospital where you should please ask for help in dealing with the depression. P.S. You are not alone  |

Cold141114:Whatever you are passing through now is for a reason, you don't owe your life, no matter what you think or do, if it not yet your time, you will not die but lives. Life is not always a bed of rose, there is time of happiness, sorrow, disappointment and difficulty, no human born from the womb of a woman can escape all these ( rich or poor). So this is your own period of disappointment and difficulty, which cannot remain so forever. Finally, to be happy in life, you must lives a simple life and stop rationalizing everything that comes your way. |
