In other words, you were running the Mid-West as a conquered colony...

That's basically what the unfortunate people were, so much so that they revolted.

But a Yoruba man will frown if you talk of marginalisation of other people, it this not hypocrisy?

How many positions were given to non igbos in the East?.

Take note Yorubas in the West had less ministry and more Yorubas than minorities.

9 senior positions.

Rubber
Cocoa
Timber
Fish

Both Yoruba states and non Yoruba states have all these you listed up there.

But Cocoa played the major export
Cocoa is Nigerian Oil (currently) as at then.

I suppose you are not blind to compare both lists...

Delta Igbo had no representative in the Western Regional government...

Nine LGs in today's Delta State....

Please I need an explanation...

So, How did Ibadan end up with the whole development while others who has same resources were left high and dry?

That's apathied in my books.

As soon as Awolowo saw the IGBO in their names, he didn't want to touch them with a 20 foot pole grin

Even a Buharri can't do this level of nepotism.

They were there just to make up the numbers.

You didn't see Ishekiri on the list

Our undoing was trusting the Edos to oversee the Midwest on our behalf. They ganged up to betray us.
lol..

So the Edos were your mai-guards and slave minders helping you to enslave and exploit the minorities?

You no get talk, abeg...

No single Midwestern Igbo name on that list, I'm glad Dennis Osadebe had the political wisdom to collaborate with Zik and rescue the Midwestern region from the grip of yooruba tyranny. It's a no-brainer the Midwest minorities were agitating for their own region away from yorrooba domination, God bless the likes of Zik and Dennis Osadebe for their foresight.

Maybe because of Headquarter. And Maybe Awolowo thought nah regionalism we gonna do till the end of Nigeria.

Even Ondo that produce highest number of cocoa didn't receive anything.
So what are we saying

And we didn't complain

These people won’t leave their cave and read to understand what is going on or what exists outside their immediate environment.

All they hear and know is Yoruba, Yoruba, Yoruba. What is this Yoruba, and what does Yoruba entails?
Is it a single entity?

As it stands on that list, all entities were almost represented and some Yoruba parts/dialects like Ijesha, Akoko et al were not represented, what do you want them to say?

The Midwest comprises majorly of Itsekiri, Edo, Esan, Ishoko/Urhobo and they are represented.
Ministers were selected provincially in a way that could be likened to be the Federal character today.

Western Region covered Anioma.

OP is irate that he did not see Chukuodiri and Onyemanya on the list. grin

In West.
4 Yoruba states and 2 none Yoruba states.

In East.
3 Igbo states and 3 non Igbos.
They out numbered Igbos in populations

sad Yoruba's are the most tribalist parasites in Nigeria robbing peter to pay Paul, just look at the list non-Yoruba's controlled assistant positions while Yoruba's ruled, they dealt with the minorities badly that they ran to zik for there own region, same thing happening now, using oil money to build seaport and int'l airport in Lagos while other region have none, even a second port is on the way with Chinese loan....but still Ogun sate is still a skull mining headquarter in Nigeria,1million boys, awawa boys, omonile are all Yoruba youths, they don't like to work,parasites..
Nigeria is the poverty capital in the world because of them..how did we end up with these set of parasites....
