VP Osinbajo Set Up Committee Of Seven To Work With Presidential Task Force by Deputy1111(op): 7:31am On May 22, 2020

The National Economic Council, chaired by VP Yemi Osinbajo in their first virtual meeting, sets up Committee to liaise with PTF on reopening economy across the country.

Members of the National Economic Council rose from their first virtual meeting yesterday with a resolution to ensure a more effective synergy between the Federal Government and the sub-nationals especially in matters related to the fallouts of the COVID-19 pandemic, including how to effectively and efficiently reopen the Nigerian economy after the lockdowns and shutdowns across the country.

The Committee is to be led by Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, also includes the Governors of Lagos, Kano, Bauchi, Anambra, Plateau, and the FCT Minister.

According to the Vice President, the Committee will ensure that there would be an even more effective collaboration and coordination between the Federal Government’s Presidential Task Force and the States of the Federation including the FCT.

Lolz ...these are just meetings that are constitutionally within the preview of his official duties....

While PYO hold meetings, others are using power to determine who gets what in government and who spends what...that's the movers of both people and money in this government ..those are the people in power and the finance minister is one of them..

One of the meanest things the late President ( Abba Kwari ) did was removing those Social investment programs under the VP office and hauling them into a new Ministry..those were one avenue that PYO weilded power ..it is well
