So that's how Transsion signed Wizkid, Davido and Olamide. Same freaking company �. As much as I don't like MTK phones, I love how that company handles business. They always have great profits despite the criticisms.

Transsion isn't a mumu company. Instead of spending so much on great specs that will raise phone prices exorbitantly, they'd rather focus on low income earners that can't afford flagship phones and deliver what they can afford. That coupled with celebrity endorsements will make them sell like mad. Redmi is using another strategy entirely. Read more about these guys and you will understand and appreciate why they do what they do.
