A Believer would be someone who hinges his life in Jesus on the simple belief that Jesus is. Believes mostly that the grace of God(a blessing God bestowed on all of mankind from the beginning) will save him.

A Born again is a person who has died to self(ego), chosen to take up his cross, and obey every commandment that Christ has laid out for those who are His followers. Being born of the Spirit of God, the born again is lead by the Spirit of God in obeying and carrying out the will of God, just as Christ did. Understands that Christ expects him to do works in order for the light that is Christ to shine in the life that he/she now lives.

A born again is a person who has genuinely surrender his life to christ. He has accepted christ with the confession of his mouth.


A believer is someone who studied religion or things related to the bible but doesn't believe in it. A believer can be a christian but has not accepted christ.

A born again is a baby believer who is still building up or strengthening up his or her relationship with God, needs alot of guidance, but a believer is already got that strong tap root in God, can easily stand on his or her grounds in faith.

They are both the same. A believer is one who believes that Christ is the son of God and his/her personal Lord and saviour. One who knows and has accepted that Jesus is the only way to heaven.

Now all these things one believes in is what makes/qualifies one as a Christian. So it is safe to say a believer is a Christian (in this context) while a Christian is a believer.

It's very simple na, A born again Christian is a believer that has repented while a believer is an advanced born again.
A born again Christian is like a baby christian who is still trying to find their feet in faith while a Believer is an adult Christian has carried his or her cross and followed Christ.
A born again Christian still has to learn to receive anointing and how to speak in tongues while a believer not only speaks in tongues but also sings in tongues.
