The ranking of the most powerful Nations on earth for 2020 came with few surprises.
One may wonder that with the numerous titles sat on by Nigeria, the African Giants can never miss such a ranking. Nigeria is thehe world’s most populated black nation, Africa’s best national brand and the Africa most attractive magnetic force for venture capital. But still with all those titles, Nigeria managed to miss what could be the most regarded ranking in the world.

Ever since the rankings commenced in 2016, Nigeria has always made the list – however the are usually at the bottom position. In 2016, Nigeria was ranked 57th most powerful country out of 60 nations that were listed. In the 2017 edition, Nigeria went down to the 77th position in a list of 80. In 2018, Nigeria went up one position to collect the 76th spot among 80 countries.

How is the rankings is compiled?
The ranking was released by US News and World Report. The ranking examines the degree of political, economic and military power of a country, as well as its external influences. As part of a yearly Best Countries survey, the resuu was gathered based on responses from 21,000 people. The report covers perceptions of 73 nations.

Egypt might be on the most powerful country list not because of any other thing but solely cos of it’s Military power that’s basically all of it, Egypt gets 2 billion dollar in military aid from the United States now you see where it’s military prowess is coming from, now lest not forget that Nigeria has always place is foreign policy on Africa not the whole world therefore making Nigeria arguably the Giant of Africa, the representative of the bLacknation and arguably Sub-Saharan Africa power house, when you talk of powerful do you know Lagos if name a country would be the 5 largest economy in Africa, potentially the 3rd in coming years... no doubt Egypt is Africa’s Military power house, but this won’t make up with out having money or political strongholds, besides Egypt most time associates it self with the south East Asians with the likes of Syria, Saudi and all.. making all other norther Africans in the same thing! Dont look at Military Power only. The indices is Military Power, Economy, External influence and Political Stability. North Korea only has Military Power above those other countries nothing more. But Nigeria has Military Power and External influence over Ghana. So i wonder why Ghana is there and Nigeria is not. Ghana has a stable economy and Political stability though.

Well of course that list is manipulated and doesn’t look like a sane person drafted it, Nigeria is even no where to be found on the list top 20... The person that made that list is a baby! And more so... you don’t want to know how bastardized the North Korea economy is with sanctions upon sanctions upon sanctions, it’s get supplies from it’s neighbor China; secretly tho, North Koreans are tattered looking and lives horribly, so I can tell you Ghana and Bolivia is doing well economically than The DPRk, Ghana has the largest Economy in West Africa after Nigeria! North Korea gdp is a few over 30Billion dollars... so North Korea is economically backward

And for those who will argue about the ranking firstly consider our present situation .let start from political economy...Nigeria have been facing political economy crisis since pdp took over from military government.

Pdp has finished this country economically and politically ...The Apc that promised heaven and earth they aren't helping matter.The little resource that pdp left behind ApC are sharing it within themselves.

As of today the rate of unemployment stand at 57%. Many people are going to bed in empty stomach... many graduate are on the street begging for alms.

Our security sector is nothing to write home about. Despite the billion of dollar they spending on security apparatus, the money that met for defense some top military officers divert it to their private account.

Nigeria have been fighting bokoharam which was created by some northern elites. Bokoharram is another source of income to some northern elders.Nigeria government has wasted billion of dollar on this terrorist organization called bokoharam and no victory yet but those who created it are getting richer every day.

Nigeria is only country that you will wake up without hope and bright future...We are just living with fear, Because the future is pregnant...Even the government are tired.

What's the solution? The only solution is to divide the country and each tribe go and rebuild their own country. Where There's hope, bright future ,justice and peace.

When each tribe have their own country to fish out the bad egg among their people will be very easy...Even the traditional rulers we pay for their action Because many will be dethroned.
