In time like this, let remind ourselves of some Biblical fact which had not been disputed by history.
There are many Bible reference that talk about food as well as personalities.
The last 8verses of Genesis chapter 25 tell us about how Esua sold his birthright for a mere plate of food while the 8th verse of Daniel chapter 1 tell us how Daniel resisted the nutritious food of the king.

Time will not permit me to go into full analysis but I want you to read the whole book of Daniel and see for yourself what becomes of him due to that single act.
You may ask, why are I'm I reading this, during this festival period? Friends, history do repeat itself.
You can chose to be the Daniel of our time or Esua. It depends on how you are relating with food.
I pray none of my Christian brethren will sell or exchange their birthright for a mere plate of food

Esua being the first male child, was entitled to the double portion of his father's (Isaac) wealth. In a nutshell, he was entitled to 75% of his grandfather's (Abraham) wealth. Since his father (Isaac) was the only legitimate child of Abraham.

Your apologies are misplaced because you didn't say anything that hurt me

@OP, I think you should learn from Jesus Christ first, before you go around pretending you can teach others how to act .

Here is what Jesus said about food.

Matthew 15 vs 10-20
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10. Jesus called the people to him. He said, “Listen and understand what I am saying.
11. It is not what people put in their mouth that makes them wrong.[c] It is what comes out of their mouth that makes them wrong.”
12. Then the followers came to Jesus and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees are upset about what you said?”
13. Jesus answered, “Every plant that my Father in heaven has not planted will be pulled up by the roots.
14. Stay away from the Pharisees. They lead the people, but they are like blind men leading other blind men. And if a blind man leads another blind man, both of them will fall into a ditch.”
15. Peter said, “Explain to us what you said earlier to the people.”
16. Jesus said, “Do you still have trouble understanding?
17. Surely you know that all the food that enters the mouth goes into the stomach. Then it goes out of the body.
18. But the bad things people say with their mouth come from the way they think. And that’s what can make people wrong.
19. All these bad things begin in the mind: evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual sins, stealing, lying, and insulting people.
20. These are the things that make people wrong. Eating without washing their hands will never make people unacceptable to God.”
Jesus has spoken -- eating food will not make you unclean. grin cheesy
