Lovely. I like to see infrastructure development and get really thrilled by factories especially those semi automated mass employment ones. Agri-processing industries are where our competituve edge lies. Government should enact a policy towards gradually ending the export of raw materials and raw agri-products. We get better value when we process, create jobs and transfer technology when we convert primary to secondary products.

But I appeal to Nigerians. When you gain employment and begin to prosper, use the spare capacity to educate and further advance yourselves rather than the primordial instincts of procreation and poverty multiplication.

Facts don't lie, Ebonyi and Enugu are the poorest states in Nigeria, with over 70% poverty rate. Not only from NBS but international bodies.
Afonja oluwole statistics..
Poverty indeed, poverty doesn't exist on statistics and paper.
Poverty is seen and felt and SW is the capital of poverty in Nigger area.
We remember who went on rampage looting homes, shops, food trucks and bread trucks, scooping palm oil from dirty road because of a little lock down.
This lockdown really open una Yash well well.
Afonjas keep peddling statistics up and down, while hunger dey tear afonja land.

didnt you noticed....??

states are competin against each other with flyovers....

strange but its good for common people....

keep quiet....let them....
The states should have better issues to compete against, like agriculture and exploring the mineral resources in their respective states rather than this worthless bridges and flyovers that won't be of any added value on their IGR.

One thing Igbos do not realise is that SW is far bigger in land mass than the South East. Just two states in the SW is the same size as the entire SE. Oyo and Lagos State is the same size as the entire SE region. SW has many Cities,Towns and Villages that needs infrastructure far more than the SE. Yet the SW edges the SE in terms of infrastructural development. Thats why you can see big buildings accumulated in Nnewi and Onitsha (Small land mass) but in the SW those buildings will be spread across the many Cities and Towns in the SW.

Will you keep quiet my friend. Ogun state have the worst road in Nigeria. Have you being to Sango OTA axis? Despite the numbers of factories and industries there, they don't have any motorable road there. I keep asking my colleagues what they used there so called IGR for. Even Abeokuta doesn't look a capital. For your information I am currently serving in Ogun state
NGpatriot:

Foreign investments not only create jobs and opportunities for millions of our young graduate and non graduate population, they transfer technology, they generate IGR that build your roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, pay salaries and so on.

Also, transporters, vendors, market sellers, advertisers, sign writers, connected to their products and services all make money directly or indirectly and they all pay taxes to your states and local governments in for of IGR

Governments all over the world go on trade missions to hunt for foreign investments and investors to in vest and grow their economy, but our shallow and young Nigerian youths and sadly the leaders of tomorrow got it all backward, and you wonder why your region is so poor and also why investors don't go to that part of Nigeria.

I hope your state or community is not depending on youths like you to one day govern them because they are in serious trouble.

While typing this rubbish I know that you have Lagos in mind, Lagos is in the west but is not a Yoruba city...

so pls list 10 cities and 10 towns in Yoruba land, let's compare.

You are half smart. Apart from Nigerian politics of calumny, there is no aspect of life Yorubas have done better than the Igbos. Let the Argument start Already. Rituals is synonymous to which region in Nigeria? Yorubas are the most lazy black race on Earth, the reason Igbos have conquered you in your backyard, buying your lands and making you tenants in your region, in some cases they buy your land and send you to the innermost underdeveloped part of your state's. Respect Igbos

This is wrong...we have hard working Yoruba....we have the Egbas, the Ijebus and they are hard working

Your comment is full of bullshit, infact it makes no sense at all.
The East is what again?
Talk about backward.
I haven't seen anywhere as backward as the sad waste.
That's why they've all run to Lagos to do owo da agbero.
Every yoruba you meet is from Lagos.
Go to SW states the poverty you'll see will shock you, poor hygiene, very dilapidated and uninhabitable residential buildings, poor nutrition.
That's why SW was ranked the region with the most cases of severe malnutrition and stunted growth among children.
SW is the capital of open defecation in Nigeria and because of SW Nigeria will soon over take India in open defecation. 90% of buildings in SW don't have toilets and running water.
Which drainage are you talking about, yet sad waste states are always getting flooded.
Sad waste that has nothing like streets, just narrow muddy paths winding through brown roof slums.
Apart from major roads, every other thing is a mud path.
Yet Yorubas will be peddling fake statistics and claiming superiority on the internet.
This one Is probably from Ogun where you can n
Just make a call and place an order for human parts.

your region needs help, I'm surprise how your kinsmen paint it bright here

would you people stop living your fake life? the same fake life your men used to lure your village girls lying to them about goods on water and taking them to abroad when they're hustling in Lagos express

Nobody has time to argue with you concerning Lagos been Yoruba land or not. Reality on ground say it is Yourba land. With the state having Yoruba Governors, Yoruba House of Assembly, Commisioners, Yoruba Kings, name of Places etc. So you can claim it is not Yoruba land in your subconscious but doesn't change the fact on ground.
