You can't compare Alakija with Uju in oil sector, she's the only woman in upstream and downstream sector

Don't worry. Let's take cameras to their homes and then we will confirm that Uju is richer than Alakija. Forget about what Forbes, UNESCO, UNDP or NBS have to say. Let's go take pictures and tour their homes

Jealous osu.

No one in your lineage can come close to quarter of alakija.

Alakija started her career in 1974 as an executive secretary at Sijuade Enterprises, Lagos, Nigeria. She moved to the former First National Bank of Chicago, which later became FinBank now acquired by FCMB (First City Monument Bank)[9] where she worked for some years before establishing a tailoring company called Supreme Stitches. Within a few years, as Rose of Sharon House of Fashion, it became a household name.[4][10] As national president and lifelong trustee of the Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN), she left an indelible mark, promoting Nigerian culture through fashion and style.[3][11]

You canner reach where she has reached.

You can only jealous.

So why is she into the partnership with Chevron and Petrol Brazil

You think drilling a oil painting well is like drilling drilling a local well for water.

Or building a oil rig is building a three bedroom bungalow? grin

Oga , we are not fighting.

The Op said she do not explore the oil in her field and you agreed with him even giving facts and figures to buttress your affirmation.

I don't know about you but I hate to argue blindly. If there are other points you want to argue with him go ahead, but you see this issue on ground the matter don settle already.

Do you know what exploring entails?

Were you expecting her to carry a rig on her head like those 4 by 4 gala sellers before you believe she was into exploration? cheesy

He is not just in pain, he is also confused.

The thread turned on him pretty quickly because he initially thought Alakija's company was not on the list he provided.

Apparently, he has now reduced his mission to name calling cheesy

Sorry, my bad.

Have forgotten that oil exploration is rocket science. Only aliens can actually dare to try their hands on such technology.

Alakija is not an alien , wonder how one would expect her to actually be involved oil exploration.

Lol you’ve destroyed on his own thread. I hope he doesn’t cry to the mod to close the thread down like pazienza did with the other thread.

These guys just lay hand on a source and just rush to Nairaland to display it thinking it favors them. However superior argument by intellectuals can easily dump their point to the trash.

This is something else they are doing these days. They lay their hand on a source which most times always favor the Yorubas. But they purposely bring few bit of the source that favors the Igbos and rush to Nairaland to post it while they claim the source is anonymous.

The reason for claiming it’s anonymous is that they know if they post the actual source, people can always go to the link to verify the whole thing and their cover will be blown.

On Alakija’s matter, no one needs to trumpet her achievements coz a king that has to say I am a king is no true king.

Bloody liar. How many barrels of oil does Ajapa field produce a day? Just 10,000 barrels and it's a joint venture.

Alakija 10% from Agbami is times two of that. Use your brain and stop disgracing yourself. grin

Famfa isn't into oil exploration, Chevron, petrobros and Statoil are the companies exploring Agbami field, she is just receiving percentages of loyalty from Chevron

The field belongs to her, but she's still not into the exploration of her own file, the filed is just sitting there fallow.

Being rich is hiring other people to run errands for you, but of course, this concept is foreign to poor folks..

Ajapa marginal field - 10,000 barrel Vs Agami field - 220,000 barrels.

Both are joint ventures but Alakija receive more because she receives 10 percent which is twice what Ajapa field produces.

Besides, Alakija is into real estate business worth a fortune. grin

Your brother actually provided everyone of the evidence I am using out of spite cheesy
Now how do know he's my brother, do you think everyone is like some gullible morons who argue based on ethnic or tribal affiliations.

I didn't just jump into this, I followed every bit of it, the guy kept feeding us with figures and documented facts whereas your assertion is a vast contrast.

I hate to rain on your parade but Britania or whatever produce only 1000 barrels per day cheesy

Agbami oil fields produce 250,000 barrels per day and Alakija gets 10% of the revenue

10% of 250,000 is 25,000 barrels just so you know

That is 25× Uju revenue.

I just want to let you know cheesy

On a comparative basis, your family can't even achieve 10% of what my family has already achieved till the world ends.

The difference between we Igbos and you guys is that while we celebrate merit and personalities that are worth celebrating, you guys on the other hand are busy celebrating drug lords and other corrupt men and women who came into wealth through questionable means.
