Direct primary is the best adoption to abolished godfatherism. if Obaseki claimed to detest godfatherism, why is he scared of direct primary and be hoping for indirect primary which is not only undemocratic but one of the feature of godfatherism

Obaseki surely have created enmity for himself within the state hence his political uncertainty

Yes cos he’s was only party elected or even picked. He’s not like the president or governor who represent the party to the people.

He is only supposed to maintain party rules and internal regulations not control them to his personal agenda. He can be removed easily infact.

I have come to conclude Edo in the past 13years have been blessed from the creator with credible leaders from oshiomole himself and now obaseki.
I say credible because for once in the history of the state you can actually bite development in the air.
... so whoever or whatever may mount that seat later this year or next, I am certain he will be worth it.
I have quit to worry about obaseki's fate even tho I would have preferred he retain the seat because he's really done even better where oshiomole left off after all they say the devil you know....
so Edo politics, I worry less.

They should allow him have a second term on a platter of gold but the fool does no to allow sleeping dog lie so he can have his second ambition easy or even wait till second term to start fighting anybody.
