We were once children & remember with nostalgia the Nigeria of the 70s comparable to today for those born during that era.

Very gleeful children's day to every child out there

Once upon a time, after Children's Day match past competition, the local government chairwoman told us to report to her if our parents fail to prepare rice and chicken for us on the Children's Day, stressing it's our fundamental right to he rice served us that day as it's our Christmas.

When i got home, i pressured my parents to serve me the said meal and the swept it under the carpet. The next day i took off to the local government headquarters, quite close to my house, to report to the chairwoman, my parents have failed me and denied my right.

When i got to the gate, and was done explaining to the gateman why i needed to see the chairwoman. He ordered me to disappear before he blinks his eyes.....
