No matter how lengthy this seems, there is sense in it.
If items stay long before getting to Nigeria then it actually makes no sense. However, it is up to you all.

What i applaud is the carrying along of customers and throwing it to them.

1. Shipping the package out this Friday is good but I was thinking, y don't u wait till June since most countries are space would be opened cos it's not everybody that would be able to incur such cost.

2. If the shipment is going to be a 2days shipment then it's something to be considered, but it may likely not. Take for instance you ship out this items on Friday and it's takes about 2-3weeks to land, then most countries now open their economy in June, dollar reduces, prices of goods reduces, this will now be a loss on our part, cos it will now be hard for ppl to sell.

3. Most of us borrowed money to buy this items with intention to make profit, now imagine someone bought a laptop i.e core i3 4th gen for TLC of about 30-35k, now to ship such laptop is about $45, even if u to negotiate with the shipping company, they may likely make it $25-$30 for us, these cost will now be charged with the new dollar rate which may likely be ₦450. If we now to calculate it we looking at around 46k for the new TLC cost. How much will the person now sell such laptop.

The only thing I would want to suggest is that we have waited this long for our items to come, June is around the corner, y don't u wait till June and see what the economy holds then u can make the decision, cos it would really be bad u ship on Friday then the economy opens 1st week of june. Just saying sha

May likely return is not certain. Increase in price is same everywhere, people will buy it, and I am sure you cant sell the laptops for 46K the new landing cost when they arrive, you will definitely still make profit, at all at all na him bad pass.

Time is money, sell them off with the little profit now and re-invest your money. Its just my own view though, the final decision is between you and Daaz

The truth is California Governor Said they wont open Economy Until August provided all things being equal and lockdown extends till July ending.
I want you to Note something about decision making in government when it comes to United States, each state decides what they want in respect to what's going on in their individual states and even Trump can do nothing about it.
Now Imagine the Mortality rate in California increases and lock down extends, what do you think will happen? I promise you it will be extended by atleast another 4 good weeks or more.

Now going by what you said, once I retrieve my own items, do you think its economical to keep items in storage and be paying that amount everyday when I know even tho they said August which ain't sure. August was just a projection and btw 90% of clients that has both volumes of phones and laptops already approved to ship so we move.

I keep getting messages everyday of clients asking when items will arrive which I am tired of as I wanna make sure you all receive your goods as soon as I can.


Moving Forward, I just got off the phone with the shipper and I gave him my 100% to go ahead in response to what majority decided on not Daaz and that will make me plan emergency trip to California in few days and will cost me $450 for the flight from my personal pocket which i think it worth it just to make sure i put everything in place.

If it's not 2days shipping then it's not worth. Same mistake made on March shipping which was not 2days. But all the same ship am let's move ahead

I don't have any item here but I suggest to go by the new shipper once the items will arrive during this period and be cleared ,atleast the profit made will cover for the change in shipment pricing.
But this is how customer relations is meant to be greater heights Baba Daaz keep it up jare.

To Everyone Who Has item in the pending shipment in California, since our usual company ain't shipping for now, we were told to come retieve our packages but there is another company who is ready to ship this Friday but at almost DOUBLE RATE PER LBS.

However, since my items are already sealed on a pallet, I will go by majority in making the decision because there is no way in breaking down the pallet to take out some people's item. It is either we all Go For the New Rate Or We wait till our usual company gets back on their feet and here are the possible outcomes.

1.) If you decide to wait, It is possible extension of lockdown continues if the mortality rate keep increasing as it is around 100,000 at the moment and you might not get your item in Nigeria maybe later in the year if you intend to wait.

2.) If you intend to wait, the only option is to put all the stuffs in a storage unit and guess what? Its gonna be at the rate of 250 Naira a day for individual per item because I cant keep those items at home for security reasons.

3.) Should Anything happens to it at storage, I wont be responsible for any damage since that is your decision.


4.) Since we all know prices of items has already gone up in Nigeria, It's an opportunity to sell at that rate and make your money fast which I blv might be the best option for now.


5.) Since You all Paid with the Old dollar rate and items will be retrieved, the shipper will charge at new dollar rate in making payments but I will find a way to make sure I am fair with you guys so we can all be happy at the end.


I'm sorry for the rate but that is the latest information reaching me. Kindly lemme know your opinions as your decision btw today and tomorrow bring us to a conclusion either to Ship Out or Wait till the usual Company Gets back.
