Hello nairaland,please anyone here knows how to make a email service provider like gmail and yahoo,with a custom email domain like @gmail.com,i need to know urgently for an ongoing project.I want to make an email service provider for nigeria,please help with anything you know or a site that teaches this,thank you.

I happen to have made a website before,I am experienced so am not a complete beginner and I have the budget and I am planing to go big with this.

It is not so hard to build though it somehow complex which can still mean that it is hard

I once thought of doing something like this but where I got discouraged was the finance aspect. You will really need so much money to build a server. If you say that u will use third party Email API to send emails you will close shop within a week because they will be charging you. So it is an effort in futility.

Op, you are not ready for this- trust me.

OP setting up this can be very expensive, time consuming and yes! You need experienced heads and capable mind to do this.

From getting your dedicated servers, buying IPs and doing IP rotation, warming up your IPs, building good reputation to avoid cold mails, handling bounces, filters and all.

Then building your own smtp.


OP, I am currently building an email server i use for my clients, especially those who send out newsletters in bulk and do not need the all expensive service providers and their restrictions.

This is a serious project and I can help you with it, or say, with what I can.

I am currently warming my IPs and building it's reputation. Today is day 2.
8 - 10 more days before I can confidently send out mails to all email services without being marked as spam within my bulk mailing limits. So an organizational email management or a solution just like yours, there's just a lot of work to do to achieve better result.
