Beautiful vehicles being crushed due to higher cost of maintenance and repairs. Many of these vehicles could still be used again. Not surprising as Norway is one of the world’s most expensive places on earth
However, any vehicles that enters the scrap yard can NEVER come out only in parts.

Oh my God, see them scrapping 2006 Eclass.

Motor that some people here are praying to God to buy this year. Some even used their mothers for rituals to buy cars that are being scrapped.

Is it possible to bring in a vintage/classic ride as a CKD vehicle and avoid the embargo or clearance fees in the process?

haba, their cars are not better than toyota bro.

they simply have no reason to buy toyota when they can buy their locally made cars for cheap, you would be suprised that many cars that are regarded as luxury cars in other parts of the world like USA, Asia and Africa are not regarded as luxury cars over there, i have seen different pictures of recent model Mercedes s class being used as taxi in Europe. you guys really need to stop belittling Toyota and their Japanese mates, yes they might not make cars that appeal to petrolheads, are performance oriented or driver engaging but they make cars that people all over the world need, that is why Toyota is the most valuable car company by a long mile.

Cost of repair and mechanics charges in Norway too expensive and most cars owners do most of d things themselves by learning it via u-tube.

From a certain point of view, that’s pretty sad to watch. All those cars have their history, went through a lot and for certain persons, meant something once. I know what I’m saying because I did this twice and both times I hardly went through it. My first car, a BMW, meant a lot for me. All my memories of being young took place around that car. My friends, my girlfriend (my wife now) and all the crazy stuff I used to do with them. But in the end, it got old (the car) and I had to sell it at a place where the prices are fair and got my second one. But it wasn’t the same as the first one. It doesn’t matter, I got my perfect memories from the first one.
I'll contact them also! Thanks for sharing! For how much have you sold your car?
