Why N- Power Is A Total Waste by mrvitalis(m): 7:11pm On May 29, 2020 |
According to the government , we have 500,000 N-power beneficiaries ....and each get 30,000 naira ...which means the program cost us 15 billion a month to run . While we spend 15 billion a month this program contribute absolutely nothing to the GDP of Nigeria . With 5 billion naira u can build a standard vocational training center , that can teach Nigerians real skills in partnership with industries .I'm not talking about how to bake and stuff ...I'm talking about industries recommending the staffs they want and we train them for them Oil companies would say we need 50,000 pipeline welders per year , it's this centers that would provide them , we need 10,000 fitters , profilers and so on ... Ict programs would be geared towards professional programs that are in high demand ...just like that for all sectors This programs would run for like 6 months to 18 months depending on the programs ...and entrepreneurship would be taught along side the skills In a month we can build 3 ...in a year 36 ...in 5 years each state would have 5 at least and each can train 1500 people a year ... Every year we would be producing 270,000 skilled labor who are ready to take up the blue collar industry and explore on their own ... If half gets fully employed our GDP would grow by approx 500 billion naira a year from this sector alone We can even work with under populated countries to certify some if this programs and take some of this trainees over to their countries ... It's very simple logic 3 Likes |

mrvitalis: How long will it take you guys to understand that Nigeria is under demonic control? Nothing will ever work here. In the next 50 years, you'll still come here to lament the same way you are doing right now. The only thing that can save you Nigerians is total dismantling of the abominable contraption. 2 Likes |

mrvitalis: He is still saying same thing. You would likely come back here after 50years to complain of another program before you know the project 'nija' can't work. |

mrvitalis: Our problem is not only producing skilled labour. We need to ask ourselves, have all the skilled youth been employed? There are no jobs whether they are skilled or not. Government teacher in our extra moral class after telling us the reasons for going into politics. He told us that there is a main reason but we shouldn't write that one in exam. He said the main reasons is to make money. The main reason for all these schemes they introduce is to create a looting ground. Nothing more. To make the matter worse, the so called unemployed youth that will take up these jobs will end up receiving the money without doing what they are paid to do. It happened in Npower. Government will not even bother if they are doing what they are employed for since they are getting their own lion share of the loot. 3 Likes |
