Ayoguy:Our able Governor, you do well o. The best you can do now is to appoint your able team(including yourself)- for on the Spot Assessment of Major Road Projects, because many of them are at slow speed.Agrc-Ishawo in Ikorodu is a pointer. God bless you Sir. |

dasauce:He isn't wrong in his assertions in any way, that axis needs an optional road that will take the pressure of the main lekki- epe exp way. However we should be clear that the coastal road is a federal project while this regional road is a state project, so in essence we are talking about 3 roads here. The other two will be more like ring roads. But I am also a bit confused about the description of this regional road. |

27Pushing30:sincerely sanwoolu is tenure is poor in terms of infrastructure of road. AA constructed more roads in one year than The current governor did in one year... All the best to him and he should facilitate the completion of Allen avenue round about and agege flyover so as to reduce traffic in this area.. |

2years for a road that is less than 10km, Tinubu's company will increase the initial cost at least twice before completing the road. This road shouldn't take more than 6months. Radarada |

Is a shame since my stupid governor hasn't finished the stupid flyover he has been building since five years in osisioma but this guy despite the covid19 issues which Lagos suffered most, he is still making wave. Okezie ikpeazụ should never have been governor |
| Re: Sanwo-Olu Flags Off Construction Of Regional Road In Lekki by SarkinYarki: 8:10am On May 31, 2020 |
Another poorly thought out stuff just like the traffic lights on that road ...Instead of building a road that takes traffic of from VGC and dumping it on freedom way which is already suffering congestion and exit issues why not Build a 20 KM Coastal road from Abraham Adesanya Coast all the Way to Oniru , this will take alot of pressure of Lekki Epe as those coming from Ajah and don't have any plans to stop in Lekki can just move all the way to VI... We need better brains in this country |

| Re: Sanwo-Olu Flags Off Construction Of Regional Road In Lekki by BabbanBura(m): 8:19am On May 31, 2020 |
dasauce:Not entirely true, even before that work, heavy traffic between Chevron and Abraham Adesanya Roundabout is a regular occurrence, partly due to behaviours of motorists especially bus and taxi drivers, and partly due to poor road and drainage design - this is what the government is currently addressing |

When would Lagos state Government fix Alpha Beach Road in ETI OSA |
| Re: Sanwo-Olu Flags Off Construction Of Regional Road In Lekki by OmoManU: 8:54am On May 31, 2020 |
27Pushing30:Exactly well said, they need to fix that coastal road really, it's even more important than this regional road but nonetheless this one too will provide some sort of relief also, you can just imagine not being on the express from Phase 1 all the way to VGC, I think it's also a positive development |

| Re: Sanwo-Olu Flags Off Construction Of Regional Road In Lekki by Guk: 10:27am On May 31, 2020 |
Omoejigbahe:Terrain is why it will take that long. The road is bn built on swamp and water area, so there will be a lot of reclamation; sand filling; compacting and concrete works |
| Re: Sanwo-Olu Flags Off Construction Of Regional Road In Lekki by 27Pushing30: 10:33am On May 31, 2020 |
tasceige:I parked by the road side (chevron) for good 3 hours traffic no ease up. Approaching VGC I saw it was the issue. Just shook my head they’re free to toll the coastal road we sha need viable alternatives not ONE road |

dasauce:Please there are two things involved. 1. You don’t actually live on this axis 2. You havent reached ajah bridge in a while There’s no road expansion project it’s redesign (they’re converting roundabout to traffic light junctions) From ajah bridge (using the flyover) inward Abraham adesanya traffic is usually very light (I go there to turn and head to Addo rather than face traffic under the bridge going into Addo road) So Abraham adesanya isn’t the cause of the traffic infact ONLY time Abraham adesanya caused traffic it reached ikate sef (rainy season last year when flood covered the whole round about) Ajah causes the traffic most times due to bus drivers parking , pedestrians crossing etc the “rush to get home before curfew” has also added more traffic How can you call yourself a motorist yet yarn okoto like this?? |
| Re: Sanwo-Olu Flags Off Construction Of Regional Road In Lekki by Godyke(m): 11:07am On May 31, 2020 |
As long as the road begins or terminates at VGC, it will surely be like going round in circles. It would have been better if the road not only terminating at VGC but also be linked through to Abraham Adesanya-Ogombo road so it can act as a bypass to the Ajah traffic menance. All the same at all at all na him bad pass. |
