God bless you governor, I for one support the motion that social housing should be a right to niger Delta indigenes because their lands ,water, people has been faced with poverty, environmenal pollution, fishes in water destroyed, vandalized pipe leading to destruction of property, corruption of budget funds.

They have delt with the masses to the point that when a project like this is done, the people think they did that from their personal money. May God help the common man in Nigeria

Okay, let's go back to history....

1.Bakassi was never part of Nigeria.

2.Bakassi was never part of Nigeria.

From the article

16. In 1970, moves began to be made by independent Cameroun and post-civil war Nigeria to clarify their maritime border which was vaguely defined by the 1913 Anglo-German Treaty. Maps from that period show Bakassi peninsula in Cameroun, but the offshore boundary was unclear since there was no detailed demarkation of the "navigable portion" of the approach channel to the Calabar estuary. Then Attorney General Elias correctly advised the Gowon government that post-colonial Nigeria had no legal basis for contesting the Bakassi peninsula itself, but that work to delimit the offshore boundary and vague sections of the land boundary should proceed at full speed in accordance with the original Anglo-German Treaty of 1913. The technical problem thus became deciding exactly what part was "navigable" and what was not. It is this matter that was addressed on April 4th, 1971 at Yaoundé when Nigeria's General Gowon and Cameroun President Ahidjo, accompanied by large delegations, signed the "Coker-Ngo" Line on British Admiralty Chart No. 3433 "as far as the 3-nautical-mile limit." The status of the Bakassi peninsula proper was not an issue for discussion. Maps from that period show Bakassi peninsula in Cameroun.

17. On June 1st, 1975, Gowon and Ahidjo signed the Maroua Declaration for the partial extension of the 1971 maritime boundary. Again, the status of the Bakassi peninsula proper was not even an issue for discussion. Maps from that period show Bakassi peninsula in Cameroun
.

The mistake Abacha made was to go to the ICJ. Nigeria should have held out for a referendum part 2. Instead we went to court, signed undertaking that we would accept the verdict, and when the verdict went against us, Obasanjo who had taken over had to abide by it...and he took 4 years to finalize everything.

This is one of the few governors in this country that has done well within the lean resources available to him, if Nigeria is not a nation characterised by tribalism and the likes he should be preparing for 2023 presidency which will be coming to the southern part of the country, in all sincerity and truthfulness Ayade has done extremely well.KUDOS

Governances would be progressive in Nigeria if each Governor or President picked an area and did good there. One person can’t solve everything. Great move from Ayade

Ultra modern?
Simple Bungalows with no modern design in an estate that has no proper drainage,

It's good provision though, but the Ultra-modern tag is absolutely not deserved!!

This is commendable.

Obasanjo how market, I hear say you no fit pay your workers salary. You dash Cameroun Nigeria land and you nor fit resettle the indegenes.
Too bad.

One day, we all will meet God and explain what we did on earth. After death, if I enter somewhere and I see Obasanjo there, I will leave instantly because definitely, that is not the Heaven where our Father in Heaven resides.

This is jargon
Even if what you typed was right
Which of bakasi indigene assent to this so called treaty
More like Nigeria amalgamation
Must we allow the so called white to define our border
How can you claim an ancestral land without the indigenous people
Well this is trash dish out to brainwash the gullibles
Bakasi was ceded to Cameroon based on agreement
For the Cameroonian government to blockade aid coming from that angle
Note Cameroon was under France colonial ties
And France supported Biafra during that civil war ,and such support was all because of oil
Then they were compensated with bakassi land by Nigeria government if they could compromise
And they did

Which Nigeria with aid of Britain promised them
The annexation of bakassi
Land issues Nigeria had with Cameroon has long be solved and that land is adamawa and southern Cameroon which was done by referendum
Away from that
