If there's any charge, he'd have been contacted while package was still with NCS.

Sometimes they don't. DHL and FedEx have a bond with Customs that runs to millions of naira. When an item is shipped with DHL and has a custom duty, custom deduct the duty from the DHL bond hence allowing the items to continue on without delay. The update / held by customs you get is them accessing and evaluating the items for determination of duty.

This is why you pay to DHL account not to custom account because DHL has already paid the duty to customs.

Will have to verify from a friend that works with DHL cause I know from transactions on Amazon, NCS fee is added during payment with an indication of it been refunded if am not charged which has never happened

Aliexpress buyers protection period is now 90 days, some sellers go even help u dey shift on regular intervals till e reach 120 days. Orders wey neva reach end of buyer's protection period the dispute will be discarded, just check the remaining days of your protection period

Keep checking when the protection time ends and raise dispute immediately! If the seller ask you to wait a little more don't agree. I have always gotten my order refunded anytime I open dispute

The above is from a close friend who is with the legal and compliance of one of the big international logistics companies. Idk about amazon shipping. Let us know what you find out from your friend.

Hello. The order is still within buyer protection period hence the judgement you got. Try to check when your BP expires and only open dispute after that happens. All the best.

I am kinda new, Jboixxx should be able to confirm this, but once the seller ships, you can only win a dispute only when BP expires especially if you use AeSS to ship.

Also, I believe once international passenger flights are allowed in the country, goods will be delivered at a faster rate.

the fact that your order is marked as completed doesn't mean that you are out of buyer protection. take a look at my screenshot. the order has been marked as completed but I still have 26 days left of buyer protection.

Cheaper? Well, I doubt it'll be cheaper but check third party shippers, these are agents that ship and sometimes procure. You'll have to do your own research to see who you will trust with your money. But most times the cheapest, though not necessarily the fastest, is still the seller. This may not true in most cases as sometimes third party shipper are cheaper for some products.

Screenshot your page that's similar to what rugged.cidez uploaded. Nevertheless, if you still have at least 10days of BP irrespective of the status of your order, AliExpress won't validate your dispute if it has to do with logistics.

Send that screenshot and keep waiting for the 2 days you're given. There's nothing any of us can do to influence that decision of AliExpress; it's almost 2 days na
