Ayugege: Thank you for this but please I have three questions that I want to ask you. 1. Is it visiting visa that you applied for or another type of visa? 2. When did you apply? 3. My blood brother too(same father, same mother) is a PR, am I among those with exemption too or not? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Ayugege: 8:24pm On Apr 26, 2020 |
1. Yes, I applied for visiting visa 2. I applied on the 13th of march 3. Immediate family members are: -Spouse or common-law partner - Dependent children -Dependent children of dependent children -Parent or step parent -Guardian or tutor. So I don't think you can be classified as an immediate family member. quote author=Betterlife30 post=88882157] Thank you for this but please I have three questions that I want to ask you. 1. Ayugege: Alright. But please I need a clarification. Do you email them your details so as to remind them or they contacted you on their own? |

If you are one of those exempted, you are expected to send some information about your application to an email address that was given on the website. Go to the website and you will get more information on it quote author=Betterlife30 post=88887546] Alright. But please I need a clarification. I think you are misleading people with this post. You can apply for a supervisa for your parent at any time after you land so far you meet the requirements. You can apply even a month after you land so far you are employed and have a letter from your employer stating how much you earn and it is over the LICO as stipulated in the yearly LICO table. This info you have given is very inaccurate. Also, where did you get your information from that you will not get a visa to visit the US just 6 months after you land? I am asking because I have friendssssssssssssssssssss that got US visas a few months after landing and by a few months, I am very certain it wasn't up to 6 months and they got their 10 years visitors visa. Your conviction in saying "you will be rejected" is mind-blowing We need to be very careful about the kind of information we take in in a public forum. If you are in doubt, please make phone calls or go to the organization's website for more information. Selah gentleiphy: 1 Like |

It is well my brother. Truth is, it’s not easy getting a job at this time, but hey, who am I; God is a miracle worker. Please do not lose hope, just hang in there. I honestly would love to help but we are also going through a reform in my office and there’s a temporary embargo on recruitment. And for the other time, God alone be praised! Samklef413: |

Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by goobyparks(f): 5:55pm On May 20, 2020 |
Good day beautiful people. I did paper application on 9th of March with my husband and son, we did biometrics same day. The only email we have ever got is from vfs saying that our Visa application has been received. We didn't even get the mail about biometrics that I usually see people talk about here. I went to the CIC site and signed up an account using the GC key option then tried linking it my paper application as advised here. I clicked "Add(link) your application to your account" Then selected "Temporary Resident Visa" The next thing I see is "Go to main account page" When I click on it, it simply takes me back to the previous page ( ie. my main account page). Pls what am I doing wrong? |

Hi All, What's the present situation with renewing/reapplying for a Canadian visa? Mine expires in June and I need to be in Canada by middle of July. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by hayoakins(m): 11:30pm On May 20, 2020 |
goobyparks: Sometimes, the site behaves like that. You can try again later or use another browser babs4all: So we can keep processing applications from people who are able to travel to Canada, we’re temporarily changing how you can apply to visit, work or study in Canada. Until June 9, 2020, there will be a suspension in the processing of some applications, and the application process has changed for visitor visas (including transit visas) eTAs study permits work permits |

Hello all, Pls o, we have applied months ago before the pandemic hoping to resume school in May but now my concern is even the passport submitted and not whether or not they will issue the visa. When will the embassy re-open and when will they start responding to people like us that they have our passports long before the pandemic and lockdown. Thank you |

truetosin: do not worry urself about the ticket reservation ...it not compulsory even a screen shot of the ticket price from the ticket sale or airline site is good enough evidence because what the visa officer is more concern about is your financial means to pay for your trip and ties to your country ,travel history and main purpose of coning to Canada ...l applied online for my father recently with same method attached screen shot from wakanow showing airline with ticket price and l also indicated the ticket price in my letter of explanation and how i will pay for it and his visa was approved ..i indicated the date when he will arrive Canada and depart but passport request letter was issued after the proposed dates 1 Like |
