Lol. OP wants to die of hypertension. Instead of campaigning against voting your brothers who married non Yoruba women, why not just tell them to stop marrying outside the Yoruba tribe?Chai... I know exactly your problem. The problem is that she's Igbo. If she was Hausa or any other tribe, you won't have any problem with it. We know you type. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

Sunshineg5:Benue people are good people..we won't complain if our first lady is from them But a first lady from a very selfish and greedy extraction that sees Yoruba as their enemy and will never allow a Yoruba to be given appointment in their lands must be nibble in the bud. They have thought us tribalism altitudes and we shall play it back to them in folds. 4 Likes |

Tranquillity360: Shut up. This is an example of a Yoruba man (Rotimi Williams) in the North who controlled like 45,000 hectares of farmland. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/mfonobongnsehe/2016/06/27/meet-the-36-year-old-entrepreneur-who-owns-nigerias-2nd-largest-rice-farm/amp/ There are also numerous Yorubas in the North living peacefully and owning lands and houses. Infact there are some Yorubas that have lived most of their lives in the North. 12 Likes 1 Share |

@OP. I see your point but people marry for love and not in preparation for an office to come in 20-30 years time. This is about a man being principled and in control always. It is the man who must remain a man about his business and not be a pata obinrin or indulging walkover for any wife or female love interest. What Akeredolu did is annoying and unprincipled. It makes me see him in a new light. How can he indulge his wife in a way that will offend his electorate and appear a slap on the face to them in highly tribalistic Nigeria. How is this non-Ondo appointee the best qualified for the position? A non-indigene appointee, to a specialist State position, with no prior affiliation to Ondo is an insult to the many unemployed competent and qualified sons and daughters of Ondo. I dont blame Akeredolu's Igbo wife. I only blame a man who is unprincipled enough to not be able to refrain from indulging a demanding and nepotistic spouse. I now see Akeredolu as no different to GEJ who let Patience Faka run riot. How a man handle his women says a lot about him. This thread is not really needed because most men are not going to be as weak-minded, puccy-whipped and insensitive as Akeredolu is. 6 Likes |

Tranquillity360: Well as a person, I don’t have any reason to go and own a land in any other part of the country outside Yoruba land. Not because I’m a tribalist, but I think Yoruba land still maintain some peace and cosmopolitan advantage over its peers in Nigeria. Coupled with the fact SW is also the economic and entertainment hub of Nigeria. So I don’t see the need why I need to go to other region personally. 11 Likes 2 Shares |
