Whether the church is a library or not is irrelevant. During my university days, so many students used to go to their fellowship to read without any issues. Holy Spirit should over protection in the church 24 hours.

Where I will end up is none of your business and has no relevance to this thread. But if you care to know, the imaginary hell fire sounds more interesting than your hypocritical heaven.
Campus fellowship is not the same as a public church.

Those who went to read in the fellowships didn't stay there all night.

Infact, back in Unilag, all ladies had to be indoors latest 9/10pm.

So what book is a lady reading in a church all alone at night when there is a curfew in place and all schools are shut till further noticehuh Isn't there more to ithuh

Can you allow your daughter to go on such 'reading' escapadehuh

Hell is sure for people who hate God. You want to go therehuh Hard luck!

You’re the one that should stop being stupid to be honest. The church should be a sanctuary and Holy Spirit should not close at any time of the day.

I will call out the Holy Spirit for dereliction of duty and there is nothing you can do about it. I’m not one of those that can be threatened with your imaginary hell fire.
It could have happened anywhere, i used to read in my church in Lagos infact its a norm for most of us teenagers then, the environment is the number one cause and the lockdown didn't help. Leave the Holy spirit out of this.

The person I quoted is the one trying to blame the victim for chosing to read in a church instead of a library. I have no problem with people reading in the church. You may need to direct your post to LifeChoices.

As regards the Holy Spirit, I’m not leaving he/she out of this. It is the business of the Holy Spirit to provide all round protection in the church. We must call out the Holy Spirit for failing to protect the lady.

What if it is confirmed that the lady was actually defiling the church under the guise of reading? Will you still blame the Holy Spirit?

You will rot in hell o. And it won't be fun as you anticipate

Why? Is it because it happened in the church? It could be anywhere.

But seriously we Christians irrespective of denomination should come out for this girl.
I don't know why churches are yet to call for mass protest especially in Benin and especially Redeemed church.

Things like this will keep happening if we don't do anything. Am sure it is not only this girl who have been raped.
These evils are frequently committed by cultists and since nobody is doing anything, it will continue.

We allow a lot of shits in this country. When it happened in India, they protested and forced the govt to even put up strict laws.

Why are we so domicile like this? Why has pastor Adeboye not called for mass protest.
What will mass protest achieve?
Take #george Floyd protests in the US as a case study.
There are better ways to achieve results. Number one is through prayer.
Prayer for the family for God to console them in their time of mourning and prayer for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.

Typical of our mentality. For years to come, nothing will change and politicians will never take us serious. For a serious change to happen something strong should happen whether destructively or not. Go check about French revolution. Iranian revolution etc
