A yet to be identified young man was unlucky as he was gunned down while on a robbery Operation in the Elelenwo axis of Port-Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Bittertruth Media gathered that the foiled robbery operation took place this afternoon at Divine Supermarket @ 293, Old Refinery Road.

It was further gathered that the gang had earlier arrived at the Supermarket in a Toyota Corolla with plate number Lagos JJJ-104AG to rob the popular Supermarket in the area.

However, they were confronted in a gun battled by Police Operatives attached to Estate Eliminiigwe II in the area.

As the gun battled ensued, two members of the gang managed to escape as one was left in the pool of his blood after been gunned down.

This attracted residents of the area who trooped to the scene to watch the fine boy criminal who lost his life today.

if they own d car, it will be much easier to catch d remaining two as the plate number is known. in case d car was stolen for d robbery and d owner hasn't reported to d police, d car is gone for good, he will be battling to even exonerate himself first

It's close to where I stay. He was one of them. From the two that escaped, one was shot on his leg.

So this guy lost his life because of this kind of supermarket? What a shame.
