Dpharisee:
Companies should learn to respect the Customs and traditions of their host communities. You killed their people in an accident and refuse to show empathy to the bereaved families, perhaps the Indian company feel it's the responsibility of the Army whose personnel drove the vehicle to reach out to the families?

If you add to the recent murder of a Nigerian by a mob in India wrongly accused of picking pocket by a woman who could not even be traced you realise that many Indians (not all please) don't have respect for Nigerians and are poor racists.

Out of the 20M, the immediate families will get max 1M each then elders and loud youth leaders will get a better share.
No effort will be put into making sure that proper investigation is carried out to prevent the killing of other "illustrious" sons and daughters of the community. Maga gat to keep paying!
Such an investigation will ensure that root cause of the accident is identified, and controls put in place to prevent future recurrence.
RIP to the dead.

They're fighting for a paltry 20 million naira for three young promising lives, when they should be suing the company for hundreds of millions of naira.
they'ld surely lose in court cos it's almost certain the security van was from the Army.
