Everything South Africa. No Nigerian investors again?
South africa has a robust financial industry. Most Nigerian investors are scammers, loan defaulters and govt contract hunters. Have nothing upstairs

My guess is it was a deliberate attempt to leverage on the great name of 1st bank for a while before fully taking over. A good one to SANLAM.

South Africa is an Insurance giant. Sometimes I feel that country has more than 1 million insurance firms at the rate many of them advertise on TV.

It is well. You can't blame the company for seeing a viable opportunity. In few years, some dvmb heads would be here typing monopoly.

Other countries sees opportunities in Nigeria untapped potentials but we have been blinded by hatred, corruption and nepotism.
When is time to repatriate their ROI , our government will now wear tainted glasses quoting % that must be left in the host country.
Big companies in Africa are owns by south Africans.
Shioor..... Nigeria is gone for good

FBN insurance that lloyd me to contribute some money for my kids education insurance without proper information about their scheme, after payment for 3 months,I was away for some months. I went for them to enquire about the money ,then the lady I meet in their office at marina started giving me stories that since I didn't continue my payment for straight 6 months, that the money has been fulfilled.that I bridged the payment agreement plan of the scheme.my 80k just go like that.fbn insurance na scam.

I think this is a good and bad move by our Nigerian government
Good side of it is Nigerians will be exposed to international insurance standards that's if SANLAM focus on individual insurance policies alongside organizational insurance covers

Bad side is it's economically draining for the Nigerian economy, south Africa and South Africans cannot allow such foreign investment and benefits while there are millionaires and billionaires in the society who can venture into insurance

NOTE: I only got to see and feel what insurance really entails when I got to south Africa. Nigeria doesn't recognize it's Potential and is morally inclined to rejecting such ideas as LIFE COVERS

yes.. that's the process, I was paid in approximately 6 working days.. your hubby should continue to contact them via email to speed up the process
