Heard Dragunov's are favored by Balochistan insurgents, and I've seen pics of squads being almost wholly armed with it. Personally, I would pick a modernized Lee Enfield.

Ok. Say you have a Dragunov rifle would you pay to modernize it like this? Wouldn't it be better by far to get a more modern DMR with better ergonomics and slightly improved range?
By the way, I'm curious- are you actually Indian?

Militaries with thousands of SVDs won't discard the same overnight , they would rather upgrade it to keep it viable and competitive with the latest products of same category

If a military has lot of money sure they can buy new alternates

Lots of militaries seem to love the Dragunov, but I never did. It's too ugly, and not very precise. An RPG 7 on the other hand is a thing of beauty
Would be interesting to see which military will spring for this upgrade.

Are such sights sold to the general public or restricted to military? Saw something like this yesterday bring trialled by the US military. It was Israeli made, with a name like SMASH 2000
