Did not realise that

14 is a good no to have in terms of heavy rotary lift capabilities

Hehe

traps for terrorists coming from across the border , a group trying to infiltrate sprung one and ran away before troops could intercept them

If it had hit properly , the terrorist(s) would have been impaled .

seriously , rambo trap !! , your forests are dangerous grin

seriously , rambo trap !! , your forests are dangerous grin

Forests r dangerous along the loc only especially close to terrorist launch pads across the border

There is one trap which decapitates in a smooth action if it is sprung correctly grin

Terrorists don't like it cheesy

It's a psychological game actually

The Vietnamese were especially good at designing traps , they had designed a trap for helicopters lol

Some of Vietnamese simple boobytraps

The spikes would be coated with human feces etc to increase chances of infection etc

Surprise MF !

That one is a makeshift solution for providing protection to squads trying to corner terrorists in tight lanes of urban areas where jihadi civilians try to pelt stones on troops closing in a cordon during CASO.

During a exercise

Considerable changes have been made to warfighting tactics given the RMA in the same.

Now emphasis is on integrated brigades with self contained resources and logistics so that they can operate independently without any support .

Corps level doctrine is being shed progressively

Believe it or not that's a missile silo DRDO style

This one is for testing but possible it is operational in different locations

Build a single room house over it with a sliding roof and nobody will be wiser as to what it contains inside lol

And this is land mobile version of the above missile

Put a tarpaulin over the same after retracting the launcher arm , it will blend with the thousands of civilian trailers running along the highways

Possibly MARCOs , they generally operate in the lakes , waterways etc for CI ops. It is mandatory for every SF arm to serve in active combat area to actually get certified as a SF qualified . Recruits into SF also need to have combat experience to join the same.
