I've noticed on my Infinix hot 8 that some of my whatsapp images and even status from my contacts come in zoomed form. I don't get to see all the notches unless I zoom it. I really don't like it. I don't know if there's a way I can make the images fit in.

The images below explains better. One is zoomed the other isn't.

Put your two fingers on the photo and manually zoom out. The whole picture will show.

use your two fingers to pinch each image to zoom in or out

...and regularly check Google play store to update your WhatsApp, maybe it might get fixed.

It's an aspect ratio thing..
Happens to my redmi note 6 pro too...
WhatsApp hasn't fixed it yet..

You can go to accessibility settings on your phone and disable "magnification on"
