Human Rights Activist, Deji Adeyanju has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari over the N27bn fund for renovation of National Assembly.

According to Deji Adeyanju, who wrote via his twitter handle, said that to build a new National Assembly, won’t cost more than N27bn, President Muhammadu Buhari wants to renovate the place with N27bn.

You should ask the NASS members why now is the time to go out to question our Senators and legislatures but no one is doing anything later we say things are not working. Buhari should not be involved in this issue at all.

I hope we all know what that amount of money can do in our communities as we keep quiet as usual.

This is a blind argument. How was the exchange rate when the NASS was constructed compares to now.
Though, what we want now is a budget reform not renovation of NASS complexes.

This is terrible. Even though the exchange rate then was lesser, this shouldn't be justified on that basis. At this crucial time as a nation, we shouldn't be channeling our limited funds to stuff like this. Its unacceptable.

They have their representatives but rather than engage them they choose malicious hate to actually holding to account the people who have the power to actually stop it.
