Most private school teachers are passing through very difficult times as a result of this Pandemic. Some haven't received salaries for 2 or 3 months now. They are passing through very rough times as we Speak.

Understand that most Private schools only pay salaries from the proceed of the term. There are some very big Private schools though that have been able to cope in terms of payment to teachers during this pandemic because they charge high tuition fees which result to ease in saving for raining days like this.

Seeing that Schools will still be closed for some more weeks, do you think FG should give out loans or grants to Private schools to allow them pay their teachers? What do you think?

Truth is, we have to be honest with ourselves there is hardly enough money to fund the budget and you want the FG intervention for private schools?

It isn't wrong to ask but it wouldn't be possible at least not at this time, especially with our inadequate data collection.

In summary, this could work in more developed climes but not in Nigeria.

Yet we are releasing Billions to renovate the house of assembly. Anyway, You only put money where your heart is according to bible. For Data, private schools are all registered under the ministry of education in each state after the normal CAC registration. So no problem with data.

Data of the number of staff, etc not schools. The FG can't afford to pay into a system where it has no control over and that could be easily hijacked with the injection of ghost workers and so on.
