Hello nairalanders, i recently bought the Samsung galaxy A30s and i noticed that whenever i put it on 4G, my glo displays 3g. Keep in mind that its a 4g sim and on my former phone (Tecno camon x pro) i was using the glo 4g fine. Also, other 4g sim cards work fine on the samsung,except glo. I tried using s different 4g sim and it was the same thing. i even bought a new sim and it was the same case.

I tried forcing the 4g (there is a code *#*#4636... But it doesn't work so i use the app), but whenever i force the 4g, the sim card just goes off. I even went to glo office and they seem clueless about the issue too, they collected my number and said they would check it but up till now.

Please someone help is there's a way to resolve this issue. thanks

But i use mtn,airtel and 9mobile 4g on the same phone

Glo is the most useless ISP in Nigeria. Their 4g only comes when it wishes to come and not when u want it to come. Before now they only use band 28 for their 4g but they have added band 3. Though the band 3 is still not available in many locations. I also experience this issue on my Samsung but I have sice discarded their stup1d sim. Not worth it bro.

Same with me bro.. Is glo 4g network oooo... U have switched to Airtel
