komekn:Care to explain? Our defence budget is 1.2 bn$ for 25,000 guys . Yours is the same for 100000 in the triservices giving you a per capita spend 4 times less. We spend around 44,000$ per capita per year on training, operations, acquisitions, health, housing etc,etc while you spend 2 bn $ barely half on the same and it shows. While ofc we still have challenges like transport and FSBs our guys are paid 3x yours (a senior Sgt gets 70,000 kshs equivalent to a NA major),housing is decent, death benefits of 50,000$ are promptly paid and the greater financial allocation shows on the battlefield results. Can you compare our results in S Somalia (apart from the El Adde disaster thanks to a careless coy commander) with your own NE record of endless overrun bases and tragic losses due to lack of purpose built platforms ? Pls expound? Edit: which units constantly post graphic warfare pix and vids despite many warnings from the Brass;ours or yours? Still waiting, komekn! Look at this. These are decade old pix of motorised convoys during the S Som invasion 2011. You'll notice every vehicle, every Panhard, every Puma MRAP,every WZ-551 has its own radio aerial. Can you honestly say the NA doesn't still lack such basic force multipliers after 8 yrs of war. Also the KDF staged the operation with its own aviation, the 50 aircav, which has since upgraded the entire unit with new platforms -has the NA sorted out this CRITICAL issue yet? Yes,we're still short of air assets both choppers,FSBs and transport but tbh the NA isn't on the same level as the KDF qualitatively. Its not even close.

Toju200:You also are another member of the gang of negative people. Did you even read the link i posted? Did you? On the link it said clearly UYO MRO. That was why i asked. But you people here specialize in dick measuring negativity. When you are not insulting or condeming people for their opinions you are trying to score cheap points. And here you are talking about Twitter. You will all die in your negativity and hate and useless pride. Dumbest thing i ever did was coming here. What a bunch of sick negative people. OUT. |

Someone would make us believe an article specifically musing on the viability of a MRO for AIRLINES is suddenly for an unidentified fighter jet. ![]() |

These latest posts shows you have having conflicting emotions. You are typing to your self and no one is answering. Kick your silly pride away and think about what i said. You will go no where in life with this negative hateful attitude. Be a man for once and accept the truth. You will forever be limited in hate. You are free to take my advice or continue in your spiteful nature. The choice is yours. Thankfully i will never have to deal with the likes of you ever again. Out. |

Odunayaw:Like 3-5 minutes. To his defence though, most of those links actually mentioned Uyo in their articles which can easily cause mix-up. Until I dug a little bit deeper before I found the first time the picture appeared online. |

kikuyu1:our budget is in naira and not in dollar.... I'm pretty sure urs is in shillings and not in dollar too. But since we have to use a common currency for comparism, then we have to factor in their purchasing power parity.... U can't just tell me u spend $100 on something in kenya when I get that same thing here at $20. BTW, when talking about peers, is expenditure on personnel the only prerequisite? |

SSBNG, you do have a precedence here which we can't deny. This makes everyone second-guess your intention even when your intentions are okay. And as the saying goes "with great power comes great responsibility." You owe it to your audience to produce accurate information. When I saw you make the post below on Twitter, I'm like "why? What is going on in your mind? This isn't necessary."

BabaOwen:The work of amazonian separatist no doubt!...either this is deliberate misinformation, or some ploy to get attention, so it just so happens Paul biya and obasanjo signed a deal no one heard about until now?...rediculous to say the least!...we are just getting the wind of this now?...no words from the presidency or biya?..the only business on 'disrupted Territory(s) we got with cameroun was the bakkasi crisis and villages that are on the northen border with cameroun, both of which have since been resolved, the Northen camerouns as it were had voted by a plebiscite to join Nigeria after '60, there has not been a clamour for an independent state from that end nor is there a territorial question, I'm very clinical to say the least about this |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by komekn(m): 5:49pm On Jun 05, 2020 |
lebuhsi:I have no understanding of the historical geo politics at play here and or which agreements were signed and and under what legal framework. Nonetheless, considering the considerably large time frame in question. People have moved on evolved and integrated into multiple societies within the Nigerian state. It's no longer simple, at the very least a referendum will be required on the Nigerian side. |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by lebuhsi(m): 5:57pm On Jun 05, 2020 |
komekn:Look up the 'greentree agreement' the erstwhile 'northern camerouns' have never been put into contention as it has been since '60 an integral and irrefutable part of Nigeria, It includes parts of Borno, adarmawa, and yobe state in a 'UNO state' is laughable, I'm not saying I have all the information, but I have a fair knowledge of the bakkasi conflict, the only deal signed between biya and obasanjo was the greentree agreement in '05, before that time?...they got both their legs on their necks |

You sick mofos here are trying to paint yourselfs as professionals and hating. What a cesspool of prideful mofos. I asked a simple question based on an article.... a simple question and you sick degenerates pounce on it lack a pack of hungry wolves. ..and for those of you coming to my twitter page. It takes an incredible amount of stupidity to keep returning to the handle you all disparage and condem. Like i said before you all are free to wallow in your negativity and stupidity. What a bunch of sick hateful people. In your hatred and jealousy you have become dark beyond the point of redemption. So continue hating, continue trying to look for holes so you can sleep better at night. Bunch of fools. |

Say what you want he is right in a way. I saw nothing to warrant this back and forth argument. He has the largest twitter following in Nigeria for a military blog. He came here looking for answers which i find admirable and you all turn it into a turkey fight. How can we grow if we keep fighting over trivials. We need to stop chasing people away with our attitude sometimes IMHO. |

Je just gave put N100,000 in give away to appreciate his followers. He is far more knowledgeable than you. His tweets are engaging. Stop acting like a jealous child and be mature for once. He is doing a thousand times better. Grow up please. |
