Bros we have it... It is the engine of BClass ... You haven't heard it because the B Class isn't a common type of Benz in Nigeria but we have that type of engine.... Google it

You could afford a facelift W212, you should be able to maintain it.

Get someone who knows how to work with newer Mercs. Please, not a roadside mechanic. A modern Benz mechanic, with C4/C5 scanners.

Nothing special as far as I know. The M276 is solid. The W212 as a whole is solid. Keep up with fluid changes when due and be careful with water getting into your cabin.

That's a CLS500. M113 no too cost, na that 7 speed and the Airmatic go chop money. Also probably plenty of electrical issues, since water got into it and it's been sitting. 1m at least to restore to decent shape.

Not worth the effort.

I think I understand what you mean here, considering the availability of parts and how cheap they are an old benz can be renewed to be new. I am just fascinated by the review of the C230 1999, I will join the family of benz soon, am about completing the deal on the purchase.
