Sure you can, its health related, if me that's a commercial student that's now into IT can work in care, why not You.
For odd jobs in Ireland whether in warehouse, kitchen, care, security, they've made it easier, I wish someone gave me this information when I was coming here.

I would have saved myself time I wasted in Sending out application forms in all manners of sectors. I received loads of rejection emails especially when they saw I was a full time student and will be unable to work with them Full time. Pls dont make the mistake.
It got to a point that I was getting 10 refusal email per day until I saw the light which I will show you all.

From all the rejections, I still get some even now. Maybe one in a week, some of these folks might keep the CV till they need workers, the lockdown meant no jobs.
From the rejections, I got about 5 calls, I guess they didn't know I couldn't work full time, immediately I told them I was a full time student, the tone changed and we politely agreed to disagree.
In all I got to know that There are Jobs in Ireland.

Spotlight,
If you want a Job, Odd jobs, don't squeeze your face cos of the name, that's the same job you'll do if you're in Canada, US or UK. UK is tougher because my friends there can't work.
The country has made it easier for international students but if you dont know these things, your family will join hand with pastor in Nigeria to settle your matter with God.
Just as The country's universities has paid-agents for free consultation for admission, course and visa assistance, they have Recruitment Agencies here that will look at your schedule and provide you with jobz. Imagine that.
Just imagine you're in Nigeria and youre able to work for just two days in a week, with the money, you're able to pay your house rent, buy food, and dress fashionably, if you save up properly, you can afford a car (a friend bought a compact car, the make is more than 10 years, but its neat, car was €700, insurance €1200 a year, tax was €300). All of these with the income you made in Two days/week.

Dont let anyone deceive you its better to be based Only in Nigeria, the Racism we're crying about here is worse in Nigeria, we call it tribalism. When people like us come here and the country has pampered us, we've seen the other side of life, and are sensitive to any discomfort whatsoever.
Yeah sensitive, I wont be able to handle 30mins in Lagos hold up now.

The good thing here is that The Gardai dont carry guns, I was shocked to hear that actually. The only carry batons, handcuffs, it was two years ago that they were allowed to carry tasers. Citizens here dont move around with guns, so theres no need for that.
Maybe in the UK, the cops might be allowed to carry knives, just joking.
The cops in the USA have their guns since their citizens carry gun. You do not take a knife to a Gun fight.

We have Recruitment Agencies scattered about, just go on Google and you'll find them. Security agencies and care is the easiest jobs here. Most security jobs demands you sit in front of a CCTV, just that the barriers is that you need to pay €300 for the training but the good thing is that their wage per hour is comparatively higher.
For health, care companies have their and some render free training while for others, you pay.
For warehouse and kitchen porters job, you need to get manual handling and Food safety certification. Each cost about €40. The same place you do it will provide you with jobs .if you're tired of them, you can take your certificate to another agency, get registered and start working without paying a dime because you already have what it takes.

Bros!! See ehn God will Favour you. Do you know how I've been wanting to ask for this kinda details and u gave it out freely!! Blessings

1. Buh I want to ask related to the person that asked. As she has a degree and she is having experience. From what I know, is she to cone in through Express Entry or Apply for job from Nigeria here through their agent in Nigeria or she should Look for Job her self

2. I studied social work and I want to do masters in Ireland or Canada kus Ireland has some free tution school and money is still needed to process it. Would you love me to apply for Social work Job or Care work, then when I get there I'll pursue my masters after saving up some cash. Thanks!!

Finance is sought after and highly competitive.
Even my course is beginning to get saturated, not by Nigerians, but by the Indians, in my class, we have 27 Indians, three Nigerians. Even if you feel you can get something tangible here, the course is hotcake in other countries.
Fin tech, cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development, and others, these are very smoking hot courses. Other countries will see the smoke afar and get attracted.

I am wondering how did you manage to switch from commercial to a masters in IT, Did you undergo any certification course related to IT Here in naija?

Pack no more
My total fees minus scholarship is 4.6M
You either show a nuclear family statement of 4M or eurobond of 2.7M
Once you do the Eurobond and you can pay 80% of your school fees, the rest is history
does this 4.6M you paid include school fees after the scholarship has been deducted? does the 4.6M also include accommodation and other stuffs or it's only school fees?

Lol thanks man

1. I'm not aware of the route without studies
I'll say she should research, the one I've heard is for the UK, you get a job there and the company sponsor you.

2. For part time job, it's very good.
There are things we can and cannot handle, it's up to you. The job is easy actually
Not sure its tuition free for masters in Ireland.

Well, taxi won't pay this period. Lockdown and all.
Cars are not so expensive. Just the process of acquiring the permit can be.

Did Economics as bsc
Then I came to study Data Analytics.

If I had prior knowledge, it would have helped greatly.

Thanks man, Ooin.

Well I have been, really really busy.

I started to work with my care agency just last week Friday, my schedule has been disrupted, still have to a balance between work and fun.

I am a fellow who thrives on a regulated schedule because TWENTY FOUR HOURS isnt enough for me even after my NYSC when I had no job, I would always groan about how fast time flies.

Fixed schedule is good to save time, and also fixed meals, fixed wardrobe, thinking about what to wear can be very burdensome. I'm gonna take some time to adjust my dress code and wardrobe about what to wear so I'll always look great with little stress. If you dont take that into consideration, one can wear the wrong colors.

It's going to be a while to get a balance tho. My day starts from 6am, sleep runs away from me, i just put on my favorite show, Culture Express at 6:30. so next thing is to Eat. I go for the breakfast I learnt from Abigails hostel at Aston quay when I first came to this country.
Consisting of toasted break with boiled egg or sardines with plus Mayonnaise, push it down with any juice, orange, or apple or milk. And have a solid like oat or wheat. this can keep me full for a whole day till lunchtime from 3pm to 6pm. Lunch can be anything, this is the only point i think about what to eat, as I have time to plan it.

In this country, Food is very expensive. You can easily spend €30 per meal. So its very common to take food to.your office and microwave. Even the whites do. They take their coolers of food, something my classmates shamed me for when I was in JSS1. How can I be the only one that takes cooler to school. I had to dance to the music then. I'm old now, no one can shame me.
I don't give a damn about people opinions.

Whenever I go to get groceries, I wear my Crocs and walk confidently. Blacks here always put on Sneakers, I cannot kill myself. It's not like I'll be given cash or special attention when I wear sneakers, I cant spend €80 on a shoe and be wearing it up and down. Plus the discomfort

If you go with €5 in any Eatery in Nigeria. you can easily eat to your fill in a good eatery, not Mamaput. Plus the food may not be to your taste since its basically foreign.
When I was working in the warehouse, the cafeteria was very cheap to eat in. I didnt bother to go with my food because I could spend €3 and eat well, €6 for the extras to pamper your palate.

This my new job has really opened my eyes, I'm still shocked about somethings. I won't update you yet till I gather my thoughts. Second day in my job, that was yesterday, one of my clients died, he has been deteriorating within the weak and couldnt sleep. that's the ghastly horror about this job.
He was weak and had lots of spasms. When he did regained himself. He smiled at me with his wrinkled face. In the midst of all the pain, his eyes still had a spark.
