Its a case of things fall apart in Edo APC now and the opposition party will use that to their advantage if cares is not taken. |

fergie001:not true, they released their timetable well before the Apc. Besides I don't think pdp has direct primary in their constitution. |

How can he say pdp can’t take edo? It’s you that don’t know Edo. Anything but Oshiomole. That should have just allowed Obaseki to finish up his tenure allow him to go. |
| Re: Edo: APC Weighs Options, Fears PDP Takeover by KenOne: 8:49am On Jun 07, 2020 |
APC going! going!! gone. Gone the killer word and punch. Two things are involved is either Obaseki gets re-elected as governor under APC or PDP. Deny him APC ticket he crosses over to PDP and wins the election there. |

| Re: Edo: APC Weighs Options, Fears PDP Takeover by joshjc(m): 9:12am On Jun 07, 2020 |

| Re: Edo: APC Weighs Options, Fears PDP Takeover by OVB123: 9:29am On Jun 07, 2020 |
It said that a house that is divided against itself can not stand. Escept APC put her house in order, i foreseen PDP taking over the state. I will also advised both obaseki and oshiomhole's faction to shieft their sword and embrace peace. |

Lostz:Obaseki did a yo man job in this regard. Despite the circumstances that brought in, he was able to unite all sections of the state. Oshiomole last four years irritated the populace. I salute obaseki in that regard. No politician would have been able to still garner so much love for support. Despite all of this, his own downfall seems to be coming from within. If the power that be have their way, the use of federal power like the last time would not be easy this time. Ize Iyamu lost a golden opportunity by decamping to the ruling party. I guess all politicians dread loyalty but would force it down others throat. Another eight years of Ize Iyamu would only side line Edo Central, who have been on the waiting wing. Oshiomole will distort the political harmony which already exists in the state. I guess a certain party is known for this. |

Edo state is PDP |
| Re: Edo: APC Weighs Options, Fears PDP Takeover by ernieboy(m): 9:54am On Jun 07, 2020 |
joshjc:oga stop posting false information, senator urhoghide won his firs term as senator during osho second tenure, and Edo South is not like Edo north that votes for parties, we vote for individuals, hence urhoghide' s victory even though this same oshomole frustrated him out of apc. |

daddytime:I salute your wise analysis. I was always afraid, it might result to this. Knowing this is Edo and not some state, if obaseki takes this route, so long as whoever emerges is Benin, things might go south for APC in Edo state. But in the eventuality, I see the powers that be reigning terror on the day of general election. APC might as well hand back Edo to its original owners. |
